The Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest is one of the largest music festivals in North America attracting hundreds of thousands of music fans every year. The 2011 festival, which kicks off July 5 and ends on July 17, includes over 200 acts playing across 6 stages.
The "Bluesfest" app was developed to help fans review the schedule and discover and share new music with their friends, see what their friends are attending, get around the site with an interactive map and find friends by "checking in" at the festival.
The app features:
-complete, up-to-date schedule (by day, by artist, by stage)
-a site map
-videos and bios for the artists
-share and "like" with Facebook friends and twitter followers
-a personal calendar (click + to add to your calendar)
-Facebook login ensures your calendar is stored permanently so you can access it any time
-retrieve/synchronize with your calendar created on www.ottawabluesfest.ca
