This draws 40,000 stars (complete up to magnitude 8) with fairly realistic brightness simulation, and lets you rotate and zoom.  It's not a useful astronomy program--nothing is labeled, there are no planets or deep-space objects, and the horizon is not shown--but it can be relaxing to zoom among the stars and try to identify constellations.  I made this while trying to figure out how to best render stars, as part of my work on a much more serious (and still free) astronomy app.  If you don't enjoy it, just delete it.  If you find a bug, let me know.

La aplicación sirve para el acceso al portal de la UOC. Permite estar al tanto de forma sencilla y rápida de:
- Los mensajes del buzón de correo personal.
- Los mensajes de aulas, laboratorios y tutorías.
- Las citas del calendario.

Además mediante el acceso a Servicios Extra se puede acceder a:
- La hoja personal de exámenes
- Las notas de Pv's y Exámenes a las 00:00 del día de publicación.
- El expediente Personal
- La evaluación continua
- Etc...

En Julio de 2011 la UOC ha renovado su certificado SSL. Muchos Androides no tienen el certificado de la CA intermedia y el establecimiento del canal SSL falla porque el servidor web no envía la ruta completa. La versión actual permite la conexión sin SSL, pero no la uséis en redes wifi abiertas.

Find where the International Space Station (ISS) is currently or see if there are any visible passes from your location (or maybe one that you're visiting soon) over the next 10 days. The ISS now outshines any star and apart from the Moon in the night sky it is rivaled only by Venus. However, it passes over in only a few minutes and you need to know when to be looking to see the ISS. When you do see it pass over it is spectacular! The app links you to the brilliant website www.heavens-above.com which is well worth browsing for lots of other satellite and planetary information.

JLPT Words is a helpful tool to learn Japanese and prepare for a JLPT exam by studying JLPT vocabulary. It contains a dictionary of words required for the exam that can be searched on using kanji, kana (hiragana/katakana), or romaji. You can filter the dictionary by JLPT levels and each word is colour coded according to its level.

It currently contains vocabulary for JLPT 3, JLPT 4 and JLPT 5 - more will be added soon.

You can test yourself using a configurable quiz to learn Japanese quicker. The options allow you to select:
* JLPT level,
* English to Japanese or Japanese to English quiz,
* entry type: multiple choice using buttons or text entry,
* script used to display questions and answers (kanji, kana, romaji),
* number of questions,
* how learning progress is used to select words for questions.

The application tracks your learning progress and displays it against each word. To make your learning easier, words that you know less are selected more often for questions in the quiz. You can also filter the dictionary of words by learning progress and JLPT levels as well as hide and show translations.

The application is ad supported.

JLPT Words uses Flurry (www.flurry.com) to gather anonymous statistics about the application usage, users' handset and country. No detailed information about location is gathered. The statistics help me to understand how the application is used and make it better.

Japanese Verbs is a helpful tool to learn Japanese by studying various forms of Japanese verbs. It contains a dictionary of 641 verbs which can be searched on their different conjugation forms using kanji, kana, or romaji as well as on translations. You can filter the verbs in the dictionary by JLPT levels.

Information about each verb contains:
* its kanji, kana (hiragana/katakana) and romaji versions,
* translations,
* information indicating whether the verb is transitive or intransitive,
* conjugation group,
* JLPT level,
* 13 conjugation forms.

The application also gives a detailed explanation on how various verb conjugations are formed and presents examples of verbs from different groups.
