[2012-10-21] Kevin: Useful but Lacking The app offers good functionality with regards maps and library resources, however it frequently crashes for no apparent reason and it hasn't been updated for the Learn VLE, also timetabling is only supported for MVM students with no integration to the centralised timetable service. |
[2012-10-03] Mateo: Out of date! * The university has moved to Learn instead of WebCT, but app only offers WebCT. * Poorly designed, and mostly about showing where the open access computers are. * Library component is very skimpy. The university needs something much more useful and uptodate for all the students and staff! |

[2012-08-08] Sarah: come on guys!! it does what it says on the tin....basic mobile access to a some myed fundamentals. what more do you want? |
[2012-07-26] John: Awful I could have designed a better app with my eyes closed and hands bound. App contains no useful function and most of it doesn't even work, can't even get SMS email. Designed by a child, don't download. Get your act together edinburgh! Time to leave the 20th century |
[2012-06-10] sutapa: compliment of this game i can be consider as an excellent tutor game.... very nice! |
[2012-05-07] Franky: Not very good at all. Right, so I am happy that even though this app offers limited functionality, it's still something over nothing. A bit slow, and a bit impractical, and could certainly do with a much needed overhaul, particularly with the advent of ICS on mass devices. My real bone to pick with this app is that i just opened it, it crashed all my other apps and then wrecked my operating system so the phone wouldn't even boot! If i hadn't got my recovery sorted and I wasn't a phone geek i can assure you i'd be in hysterics right now. Please have a look for any bugs, or viruses for that matter. |
[2012-05-04] Edward: Good effort It's a decent app but not very practical - you think you'd get access to webct or lib book renew functions. Unfortunately it doesn't really do anything for you. So What is the point? |
[2012-05-02] JFM: Force closes and lock ups Galaxy S |
[2012-04-05] Martin: allow SD storage This is the 2nd time I've downloaded this app. Now better than initial launch (where the log in failed) this is better ... however: 1. You need to allow this app to be moved to the SD card. 2. As I need to log in with our EASE details, I should NOT need to provide them again elsewhere in the app (eg Finance). Hopefully the rest is just optimisation and personalisation. HTC Desire |
[2012-03-12] Alistair: Dreadful Force closures, dire functionality, lack of parity with iOS version.. Nexus 1 |
[2012-01-02] Molly E: app won't even open |
[2011-12-28] Rob: Poor. No access to email, My Courses function doesn't work. Galaxy S. |
[2011-12-10] lola: Main reason I downloaded this app was to access my uni emails a very basic thing which, cant be done with this programme! |
[2011-10-19] Holly: Clearly not designed for Android but still a functioning app. All items in my timetable appear twice but I think that's an admin problem not a dev one |
[2011-10-03] Grégoire: Bad iOS port |
[2011-09-05] Nico: Rally easy to use, signed into no problem |
[2011-08-31] Elric: So-so Works on HTC desire with oxygen ROM/Android 2.2.5. bit buggy and clearly a port. Will rate again when more functions activated |
