Anytime and anywhere, TTU Mobile gives you access to the latest information about Texas Tech University in the palm of your hand.
Use the TTU Mobile suite of apps to contact others, find and bookmark courses, navigate your way around campus, and stay updated on schedules and news for all your Red Raider teams.

Directory – Use the TTU Mobile directory to look up Texas Tech faculty, staff and students, store contacts with only a few taps, and use the e-mail or phone capabilities of your device to connect with others.
Athletics - Follow Texas Tech sports news, schedules and receive up-to-the-minute scores on all your favorite Red Raider teams with the athletics app.
Courses – Browse the current term course schedule to find class descriptions, times and locations. With just the tap of a finger you can map the location or contact the professor.
Map - Search for Texas Tech buildings by name, pinpoint them on the map and see your relative locations. Zoom in or pan across the map using the multi-touch interface and bookmark building locations for future reference.
News – Find out the latest news on campus by browsing Texas Tech Today news , including alumni, campus life, academic, research and tradition stories.

[2011-02-23] Michael: Some recomendations for 1.0 The app is over 11MB! I decompiled the apk, and most of this size (~80%) is due to the large jpeg map of campus! Ideally, the map would be a vector graphic - png at the very least - with the names of the buildings printed as text over the image, not part of the image itself. Also, pinch-to-zoom is very buggy and puts me in weird places where I didn't zoom to. Small typo if the gps is out of bounds ("your self"). Also, I'd recommend a menu press option to show the legend, instead of it being off to the side. |
