Music Tutor Sight Read Lite (v. 2.15) Разработано VirtualCode.es |
Learn to sight-read music with MusicTutor SightRead (MTSR). MTSR is a quiz game designed for music students, for learning to read (and write) music in an easy and pleasant way.
*
** Gameplay
MTSR includes some games, but all them work the same way:
1) The program ask a question, which is shown on a panel (question panel)
2) The user answers, using another panel (answer panel). If the answer is correct, a sound is played, corresponding to the question made; if not, a failure sound is played.
These are the included games:
1) Read staff: The programs draws a staff in question panel, and a note in its position. The user must answer with a keyboard.
2) Write staff: The program shows a note name in question panel. The user must answer using the answer panel (which draws a staff) dragging the note to its correct height.
*
** Game modes
1) Timed tests: during the selected time interval, the user answers questions. Correct and wrong answers are accounted, and when the time is over, a score (based on correct&wrong answers and time) is shown.
2) Study: the user answers questions without any time limit. In this mode, the "Learn" button is available, and it changes program behaviour.
3) Learn: in this mode, the user touches the answer panel, and the program shows the question (or questions) which would have been answered by given answer.
*
** Time options
Game time can be chosen. If "0" is chosen, the game has no time limit and "Learn" mode can be activated.
Stored results from previous tests can be shown.
*
**
MTSR is designed to work in any screen orientation (portrait, landscape), and screen sizes (phone, tablet). Help is included.
Learn and enjoy with MSTR!

[2013-01-07] A Google User: Very nice Exactly what I wanted in a learning app! Highly suggested. |
|
[2013-01-04] A Google User: So-so Interrestimg idea and good flexibility. However, still many bugs to fix. - no option save. Each time you re-enter you have to reconfigure from bottom.. this is basic 101... - when you finish a test and are clicking a note at the same time, the score goes away and you cannot see it... should disable note clicking when game is ober at least ! - when entering config pannel, the selected options are not always shown so you are not sure what you are doing... - the previous test history cannot be cleared - option menu in android bar does nothing - either remove it or make it do something -graphic layout very bad - at 1280 pixels tablet, still have to scroll option pannels - this can ezly be optimized - many other glitchs So for a paying application, i am greatly disapointed |

[2012-12-29] A Google User: Excellent for free app I like the adjustable times and the untimed version. Also a feature where you press the key and are shown the note. I'm probably buying the complete version. |

|
[2012-12-04] A Google User: Excellent App! I'm using it to refresh my memory on reading music. It's very helpful as you can set the time on tests and do it on the go easily, as well as just doing it to learn by setting the time to 0. Great for beginners and it helps keep things fresh in your mind while keeping it simple. |

|
[2012-08-12] A Google User: An absolute beginner I've never learned to read music and I decided that the time had come to unravel the mystery of all those squiggles. Less than 24 hours after starting, and it has been frustrating, I'm starting to get to grips with what they all mean. My only criticism is that there is no 'this is what the notes are' introduction. I struggled with trial and error for a while but had to use Google to get me on the right track. Hopefully by the end of today I'll be reading music more quickly and more naturally and I can buy the more sophisticated app. |
|
[2012-08-02] A Google User: Very good Very good i will buy full version |

[2012-07-29] A Google User: Dope!! |
|
[2012-07-20] A Google User: Wonderful This app is excellent! At first I was paranoid because I've had at least 10 professionals try to teach me how to read music and they all gave up. I had all the notes on how to read music, I just couldn't. So at first I used my notes until I became used to it. Now I'm going to learn about notes, not just the staff. Thanks a million!! |
|
[2012-07-13] A Google User: Fun way to practice Great for practicing reading music |
|
[2012-07-05] A Google User: Very good! Just what I needed. For future update consider display answer after student has input answer. If correct will reinforce. If incorrect will help visual learner. |
|
[2012-07-03] A Google User: Good stuff Helps learning the treble clef, however, no bass clef. Still, good app. |
|
[2012-07-01] A Google User: Nicely made Very simple and even addicting |
|
[2012-06-22] A Google User: Well designed app This is a nicely designed app with good options to learn with or without a timer, etc. Much better than the other notation learning apps I tried. My only wish is that the app showed two octaves when I have to read a note. While recognizing a note on the staff, I dont want to just recall its name - I also want to play it on the right place so I start building spatial memory of the keys on my piano. |
|
[2012-06-21] A Google User: Great This game is fun and helps you identify the notes |
|
[2012-06-11] A Google User: music tutor good APP |

|
[2012-03-25] A Google User: High five Awesome. Very helpful. Great tool. |
|
[2012-03-23] A Google User: Not for beginners As someone who has no clue what note is on a staff, this app doesn't help me. It shows the note on the staff, and you have to hit the piano roll at the bottom and if you're wrong it dongs at you, if you're right it dings and immediately goes to the next one. So when I dong 5 times in a row and just end up hitting random ones to get it right it dings and switches to the next and I have no idea what I hit that made it right. My suggestion: make it display the letter inside the note when the right one has been selected, and leave it up there for a few seconds or until tapped so I can know what it was. It would be nice if it would play the actual note as well. Really high notes are just up there, and I can't judge how many lines up they are above the staff. Please add short lines up there as well so we can see where it is. |
|
