[2012-12-18] A Google User: Pocket Astronomer - Universe in your hand This is a wonderful and very comprehensive app. It has just so much information that you can also use in so many ways. Very impressive. It does take a while to discover everything that is in here, but that does not stop you from diving right in as a novice. Seems there is always a new feature or piece of information that you had not seen before. As such reminds me of Astromist on the old Palm platform, but then with steroids on Android, especially on my Nexus7. |
|

[2012-12-16] A Google User: Needs updating Very well featured, but buggy under Android 4. Facebook page says this will be fixed in next release but 4 was released over a year ago! This is probably a great app when it's working but I'm not holding my breath. <edit> It's been updated and the changes are amazing! Even more features and very stable - it's got something for everybody! |

[2012-12-13] A Google User: Excellent Update This is an app that keeps getting better and better. Very pleased to see my suggestion of sorting the altitude and azimuths of objects incorporated. This app is made by a Developer who listens to his audience and who really cares. This update means Mobile Observatory has become a most effective planning tool for organising observing sessions. I would like to see a donation button incorporated. I would certainly like to show my appreciation. 5 stars for the app and 5 stars for the Developer. Excellent!!! |
