SpeedImage - Flies is a visual interactive study tool that works like a game, designed to help college students achieve and excel.

Speed Image greatly enhances memory retention by turning diagrams into identification challenges. Each of the available image packs represents a chapter of a subject, and can have anywhere from 5-20 regions to identify.

You begin by opening and displaying an image, then race against the timer to touch and identify each area as requested at the top of the screen. Outlines indicate the appropriate answers in each case, as you advance at your own pace. Score and accumulate points for your correct answers, then upload, share, and compare your results with your friends and other users via Facebook, Twitter, or email.

In our brains, some of the most important regions involved in the formation and retention of memories are the temporal lobe, the hippocampus, and the amygdala. Games have been proven to especially stimulate the emotional learning center, the amygdala. By combining learning and memory with competition and play, the amygdala is especially potentiated, helping to make memories formed during the game experience more long-term and permanent.
