[2013-07-26] A Google User: Great improvements! So much closer to the desktop app I love it!! |
[2013-06-01] A Google User: Can you add new payment method I want to buy this app but Paypal is suck and i don't want to use them to buy app. Please add new payment method, i love this app and really want to buy it!!!!!!! |
[2013-04-21] A Google User: Quite useful Quite nice app. A couple of issues though: - When selecting "correct", the example sentences are skipped, which is quite a shame - The included keyboard tends to ignore some keypress (sound play, but the press is not registered). Overall quite a good companion to the website for people on the go. |
[2013-04-17] A Google User: Overpriced but app is ok Ya know you guys there are free alternatives like the flash card app anki, which also happens to have a better SRS built on. And did I mention its free? *edit* looking back I have to change my review. iKnow does have some advantages over anki. I think the structured lessons are a better motivating factor for studying. I still think that the iknow service is still a bit overpriced, but I understand that the content is rich, complete, and professional, and that the authors must make a profit. |
[2013-01-08] A Google User: Perfect Perfect. It works exactly like it should. |
[2012-12-01] A Google User: Great Love the new changes. Now please bring on a lightweight version of Brainspeed to this app! Using the study mode and dictation is sometimes cumbersome. We need a fast paced and easy to use feature like brainspeed on mobile devices. |
[2012-11-25] A Google User: would give 5 stars But keyboard shortcut behaviour is completely neglected. I use I know with key board short cuts only for some reason the app doesn't support it. |
[2012-11-16] A Google User: Yay Dictation Finally you've added dictation to the app, best news ever, now if we could get more of the sites goodness on the go it will continue to be the best. |
[2012-10-16] A Google User: Needs more It's great but it needs to add how-to-right feature, also add new ways of payment.. Like visa please Thanks |
[2012-10-16] A Google User: thanks great customer support. polite and prompt response! |
[2012-10-16] A Google User: Dear Henry No there's nothing better and free. Anki with Core decks is an inferior experience to using iKnow. Especially if you need to sync to multiple devices which is annoying to set up and maintain with Anki. I don't think this is the place to say such things either. Great app. Great service. |
[2012-10-12] A Google User: Best Japanese learning app! I've learned so many words in Japanese using this app that I understand Japanese a lot better now! ( o..o) |
[2012-09-07] A Google User: almost perfect would be ideal to have brainspeed |
[2012-08-24] A Google User: Good After a recent system update for the Toshiba Thrive, I am no longer having any troubles with this app. Audio for personal lists works fine now. Definitely a great app for studying on the go! |
[2012-08-15] A Google User: Love love love it! Attached to an account it is a great tool! |
[2012-08-14] A Google User: My favorite android app Best way to learn Japanese on the go hands down, allows me to be productive where ever I go. Worth every penny also, monthly fee insures future app development and high quality upgrades and content. |
[2012-07-18] A Google User: Amazing It's ust amazing. The only thing I would add would be the brainspeed mode. Appart from that, it is perfect |
[2012-07-09] A Google User: Keyboard seems fixed Returning to 5 stars from 2 because this version seems to have overcome the previous version's keyboard issues. Now an excellent tool for 5 minute study sessions in the go. |
[2012-07-09] A Google User: Keyboard's broken (update) (Jul. 10 '12 update: new version and the keyboard problem looks fixed... Application is much more enjoyable to study with. revising review to 4 stars.) Old review : (From 5 to 1 stars) With the latest update, the keyboard has become impossible to use. You cannot type Japanese on it as it shifts to the next space after each pressed letter. Until fixed the application is useless! |
[2012-06-22] A Google User: Great for learning kanji! Totally worth the money! |
[2012-04-13] A Google User: Simply the best I tried basically all Japanese learning Apps. This is the best one. Having iKnow installed for studying, and a dictionary (like JED) to look up words, I can't be happier. |

[2011-04-23] A Google User: High-class all the way I've been using the web app for a month or so now and have been impressed by how thoroughly professional a product you get for about ten bucks a month, and have already learned quite a bit. I'm glad to see that the Android app is held to a similar standard of quality. The app is gorgeously well-designed, and provides an identical learning experience to the web app. |
