Made in Popland intends to examine how the ‘pop art’ of our times unfolds itself. The works featured in this exhibition employ pop art-like tactics with which we are familiar, but they are different from the works of the historical Pop Art in terms of both style and content. They comment on the political, economic and cultural realities of the societies in which they were made and show various codes reflective of the social phenomena in which they are produced and consumed. In spite of their great distance from the definition of the art historical Pop Art, they let one to ponder upon the pop art of the present times in the respect that they are made through Pop Art-like strategies on the basis of the pop culture of our times. This exhibition examines the pages of the pop art of our times through the life of the Asian public, and hopefully it will provide an opportunity to deliberate on what today’s pop art should be.

A fighter aircraft is a military aircraft designed primarily for air-to-air combat with other aircraft, as opposed to a bomber, which is designed primarily to attack ground targets by dropping bombs. The hallmarks of a fighter are its small size, speed and and maneuverability.

Many fighters have secondary ground-attack capabilities, and some are dual-roled as fighter-bombers. Consequently, the term "fighter" is sometimes extended colloquially to include dedicated ground-attack aircraft.

Fighters are the primary means by which armed forces gain air superiority over their opponents in battle. Since at least World War II, achieving and maintaining this air superiority has been a key component of victory in warfare, particularly conventional warfare, between regular armies (as opposed to guerrilla warfare). The purchase, training and maintenance of a fighter fleet therefore consumes a substantial proportion of the defense budgets of modern armed forces.

El Diccionari de dubtes del català oral (DDCOR) és el diccionari digitalitzat, sonor, de l’estàndard oral de la llengua catalana. Conté més de 2.600 entrades, la pronúncia de les quals es pot consultar en les principals varietats del català: el català central, el mallorquí i el rossellonès (bloc oriental), i el català nord-occidental i el valencià (bloc occidental). Cada entrada inclou l’exemple de la pronunciació recomanada en cadascuna d’aquestes varietats i també la norma ortoèpica, a més d’altres remarques.
El públic per al qual s’ha ideat aquesta obra són, doncs, els alumnes universitaris que tinguin l’expressió oral com a matèria d’estudi. Estudiants de graus i màsters de Filologia Catalana, de Comunicació Audiovisual, de Magisteri, etc., en són els destinataris primers. Però aquest enfocament didàctic no impedeix que el DDCOR pugui ser usat com a referent de la pronúncia recomanada en qualsevol de les grans varietats del català per tots aquells professionals que necessiten un model de llengua oral formal. La selecció d’entrades del corpus, a més de les etiquetes, garanteix que tots els fenòmens hi estiguin representats i que, per tant, qualsevol dubte pugui resoldre’s per imitació.

Various lists of the Wonders of the World have been compiled from antiquity to the present day, to catalogue the world's most spectacular natural wonders and manmade structures.

The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World is the first known list of the most remarkable creations of classical antiquity, and was based on guide-books popular among Hellenic sight-seers and only includes works located around the Mediterranean rim. The number seven was chosen because the Greeks believed it to be the representation of perfection and plenty. Many similar lists have been made.
