This application is the officially authorized Practice Test application for the the “GNK Life & Business Style Japanese Language Test”.  The GNK Test is organized by the Nonprofit Organization:  Test of Command of Japanese for Foreigners (certified by Cabinet Office of Japan ) and Exam Executive Committee Representative Organization:  Foundation Asian Fellowship Society  (approved by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan).  To find out more about “GNK Life & Business Style Japanese Language Test”, please refer to http://www.nihon.ken.com/

This application was created to improve your Japanese ability using a Smartphone enabling you to self-study everyday in preparation for a higher score  for the GNK Test.

There are 2 types of applications according to your language level.

Course A:  Master Level, Advanced Level, Upper Intermediate Level
Course B:  Intermediate Level, Upper Beginner Level, Beginner Level

We have 15 free exercises for each course A and B.  Try out your Japanese ability by downloading the application that suits your level.

Function
ぜんぶの問題：Answer all the 15 exercises .
(Grammer & Comprehension: 9 exercises,
Culture & Society: 6 exercises)
まちがえた問題：Answer only the mistaken exercises continuously.
せいせき表：　　You can check your learning process and percentage of correct answers.

Check out the column 「ちょっと寄り道～Japan ナウ～（Japan Now）」and familiaize with Japanese culture.  Enjoy learning Japanese!

If you want to continue with learning Japanese, new exercises(with additional charge) will be added starting this fall, so keep up with your Japanese learning and get a high score on the GNK Test!

Mobile University is a comprehensive college and scholarship search utility.  With Mobile University prospective and current students can research information on more than 4,500 two year and four year college and universities within the United States.  Users will be able to view comprehensive information about the school, majors offered, housing, social atmosphere, academic profile, tuition, admissions, financial aid, and athletic programs.

Students can create a personal profile detailing personal and contact information, academic/test score information, and any extra-curriculum activities for which they are involved. After creating a profile, the profile can then be forwarded to a school that the student wishes to contact.

The scholarship search engine allows the user to search over 4,000 private scholarships for which they may qualify.  In addition to five canned profile-based search routines, a custom search based on several areas that may be of interest to the user can also be performed.  An emailing feature allows the user to include the complete details of a scholarship as the body of an email message that can be sent to a friend or relative.

　帰国後、N H K へ入局し，32年間にわたって、英語ニュース記者、英語番組チーフ・プロデューサーなどを務め定年退職、その後、山一電機株式会社へ入社、海外戦略を担当しました。
　現在は、ノンフィクション・ライターとして、英語・自動車・オーディオ関連の単行本や雑誌連載の執筆に専念中です。
　日本ペンクラブ会員、日本記者クラブ会員、映画英語教育学会会員。
　主な著書は「店員さんの英会話ハンドブック」（ベレ出版）、「オードリーのように英語を話したい」（ジャパンタイムズ）、「映画で学ぶおしゃれな英語」（NHK出版）、「なんといてもメルセデス」（マネジメント社）など多数。
　「スーパー・アンカー和英辞典」（学習研究社）の編集にも協力しました。

Now as a non-fiction writer, he has written some ten books , and contributes to essays and columns for several magazines on such subjects as English, cars, and audio.
Members of Japan Pen Club and Japan National Press Club.
His books include “I Wish I Could Speak English Like Audrey Hepburn”;“Sophisticated Phrases from Hollywood Films”; and “By All Means Mercedes”

　レイチェル・ファーガソンは NHKの２４時間全世界向け国際放送「ニュースライン」 (Newsline) のキャスターを中心に BBC （英国放送協会）やアメリカの雑誌「ナショナルジオグラフィック」(National Geographic）などの出演者として多忙な毎日を送っています。２００５年にスコットランドから来日したレイチェルは、持ち前のピアノやギター、それに歌手の才能を活かして、サントリー，ファンクルなどのコマーシャルや国内のライブ・コンサートに出演しました。
　イギリスの大学では英文学／創造ライティングを専攻、英詩の分野では数多くの賞を受けた経験もあります。

Rachel Ferguson is weather caster on NHK World’s 24-hour news program, Newsline.
When she is not in the newsroom, Rachel works regularly as a narrator and voice actress for clients such as the BBC and National Geographic. Her extensive singing work in Japan has included commercials for companies such as Suntory and FANCL, in addition to elite brand promotion, and dozens of live concerts. Rachel also plays the guitar and piano, and writes her own material.
During her time at university studying English literature and creative writing, Rachel received numerous poetry writing awards. She has also worked extensively as a copy writer, script writer, and editor for clients such as L’oreal, Maxell, and National Geographic.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys studying Japanese, running, and watching movies.
