Faraday's Law: Michael Faraday discovered that whenever the magnetic flux linked with a coil changes, an emf is induced in the coil. The resulting current is called the induced current. This phenomenon is called electromagnetic induction.  Whenever there is a relative motion between a coil and the magnet, the induced current flows through the coil.
