View the overall grade for current courses
View the course description, outcome, and outline
View course assignments
- Add course assignments to your calendar
View grades for assignments
Post and reply to discussions
View announcements
Receive notifications when a grade is posted to an assignment and/or course
Save your username and password for an easier login experience
- Check the box to save your username and password
- Delete your username if you wish not no longer save your username and password
- Username and Passwords will be saved for a period of 5 consecutive days. You will need to re-save your username and password at that time.

A good start Would like to see live chat session's added seeing as html5 coding is starting to emerge into the beta phase for some companies I also think that the tablet version of this app needs to drop and maybe adding audio/video conferencing to the program could be an interesting way to interact with discussion boards other than those minor issues the program is great so far.

Good start. Increase functionality. This app is a good start. Increase functionality would be nice in regards to ability to see other actions that can be accessed online. Email isn't that much of an issue because a person can just add that email account via their phone email.

Kind of helpful, not great The issue with scrolling DBs really needs a fix. Discussion Boards and e-mails are probably the number one reason to use this app since they are probably the only things you can do "on-the-go." Unfortunately, the issues there never get addressed. I generally just go the CTU site from my Chrome browser on my phone instead.

The only thing that works right is the grade book. I would not even give it one star. I got it so I could at least read and reply to the discussion boards while on vacation. The only thing it lets me do is check my grades. It is a waste of time and not useful at all for students who want to actually use it.

Can't use Why can't I use this on my android tablet? I have it on my phone, but it is hard to do anything on that tiny screen. Having it on my tablet would be so much more useful to me.

Nice, but... It's great to have a way to check on my assignments, interact with the responses in the discussion board, check on grades and due dates and see assignment descriptions. After that the app seems useless for a phone. I can't check my emails, I can't view an entire response in the discussion board because it will not scroll the page to see the text. The bookshelf is unreadable with such a small screen and takes a few seconds to register any action. Good little app for quick updates and checks, but that's it.

I've seen better apps out there that are a lot more interactive.I'd also like to be able utilize the labs, ebooks, virtual campus as well as the M.U.S.E. function. Now I'm getting notifications constantly for no apparent reason. While the concept is great to be able to get the grades and view the assignments even partially, CTU still has along way to go before students get the full function of this app.

Hold on account? Every time I've attempted to use this app, immediately after login it pops up a message saying, "Unable to retrieve courses as a hold has been placed on your account". Is anyone else experiencing this? If not, do any of the devs have an idea as to what the problem might be? I'm able to login via the CTU courses without any issues using my regular browser. Otherwise, the app seems to be fairly stable and nice. I would love to see what it actually does though.

I agree with u Tonya!!!! Apps are capable of allowing users to make their lives so much easier now...I'll be glad when this one does as well. We need to be able to access our emails, books, n get class time notifications as well. CTUO is an online school so it should be fully accessible at all times from anywhere, in my opinion, and I mean, that is kinda the point of online n apps, right?

constant notification Now I am getting a constant notification but have no clue what it is. When I click on it in the notification bar it doesn't do anything. Doesn't go to the app or tell me a grade update ... I'd love to be able to access email from this app. I would like to be able to set multiple reminders for when classes are. If I'm gone from my house and my class is at 1 I need it to remind me I need to get home in half an hour (or however long I choose) so that I can be there in time for class. I would like to be able to read what others replied to my discussion board posting. Would be nice to be able to access our books instead of having to have a whole different app of course smart in order to access the book for our class. I would also like to be able to access this app from my tablet. Thanks

A lot of problems My biggest problem with this app is that I use my phone to read discussion board posting during my breaks at work when I can't access my home computer. In this app I can't scroll in the posting. Only the first couple of sentences fit on the screen so that's all I can read. Also, when classmates reply to postings, they show up as seperate postings so you have to open everyone to find out what the posting is. After attempting db's I just quit using the app. It's a waste of time to have to log in completely.

It works on Android tablets I read the description and it says it only works on mobile and not on Android tablets, but I've been using it for weeks now on my Android 4.0. It could use a bit of work, and when I added assignments to calendar it would log me out, so I got an assignment player for the tablet. The two together mixed with CourseSmart work pretty good. Like I said, it does work on tablets, well, on my experiences anyways, and it does need an update or two, but overall it's a great tool for the CTU. Have a good day. : )

If only... To start, I really do love the convenience of this app. If I'm on the road and have no computer next to me, I simply open up the app and check out my upcoming assignments. This is very convenient because it allows me to check my status of my classes and grades at anytime of the day. Unfortunately the fifth star was not given in my opinion only because of simple features that I would really like to have. One of those features is to be able to attend the live chat sessions.

Not what I expected The app. works great for me, I have not encountered any trouble with it myself. I only wish for a one time log-in and the ability to attend chats. Those two points would gain the fifth star. The problem with chats may be our phones though, I believe mine will only support one open window at a time but allow multiple tabs. My xoom will let me in the chats but I frequently lose sound (hardware issue) though it does not sport this app.
