[2013-04-14] A Google User: Great. Easy to use and efficient to progress in chinese reading. |
[2013-04-12] A Google User: Useful but limited To be able to scroll back to previously presented characters would be useful. Also would prefer smaller learning set repeated at shorter intervals. And you have to have the free version installed to open the paid version. |
[2013-01-16] A Google User: Needs fixing I have the Pro version, and after accidentally clearing my data the app no longer cycles back to X'd characters. Once X'd, you never see it again. Of course, this defeats yer purpose of the app, which is to review characters until memorized. |
[2012-12-16] A Google User: Worth 10 times what it costs 5000 Hanzi in simplified or traditional with a good test engine. My 4 boxes of Tuttle flash cards ($100+) are better. Nothing else I know of can compete. |
[2012-11-07] A Google User: Frustrating I am stuck at 385 words, while studying for a year in china... a lot of strange words for which i have no clue of a possible use... i believe now i should validate words i don't know in order to access to words corresponding to my vocabulary... too bad! |
[2012-09-16] A Google User: Demo has only irrelevant chars. |
[2012-09-13] A Google User: Awesoe |
[2012-08-18] A Google User: A suggestion It would be helpful to have a Visible saved list of the characters you already know, so you can consulte it anytime you want. |
[2012-06-05] A Google User: Rubén Excellent, This app make you practice at any moment. Love it. |
[2012-04-09] A Google User: Simple Simple app. For me too many new characters are 'released' so it's Hertz to remember them all. Other than that, quite a useful app. |
[2012-03-31] A Google User: Can be better. Please add reset function or profile function to support multi-users. |
[2012-03-04] A Google User: Choice for diacritic spelling of tones Would deifinitely buy the PRO version if it had the choice for spelling the tones with diacritics instead of numbers. |
[2012-01-23] A Google User: Best character drill app I've tried several and this one is better because it uses an algorithm to review occasionally ones you got right and comes back more often to ones you missed. I upgraded to Pro version it seems to have 5000 chars and works great. |
[2012-01-18] A Google User: No Pinyin It would be awesome to have the pinyin version also... |
[2012-01-08] A Google User: Good for practicing vocabulary! Great for beginners who have the tonal pinyin skills. |
[2012-01-07] A Google User: Good but limited Functionality is good so far as it goes, but distinctly limited: * No option to train specific lists (custom, HSK etc) * Train only from character to pinyin. No option to train meaning to pinyin, pinyin to character, etc * pinyin/meaning side of the card shows pinyin in hao4ma3 style. Personally I'd much prefer to see the accents as this is so much easier to read. * Seems no options to customise the frequency of recurrence of words. Not clear what the algorithm is for repeating words that are right vs wrong. * Can only train the 100 most common characters (upgrade to pro for more) It's possible that some of these features(other than the last) are addressed in the pro version - but if so, it's not made clear. |
[2012-01-06] A Google User: Basic interface and average learning. Room for improvement |
[2011-11-14] A Google User: Excellent |
[2011-09-16] A Google User: Great app. Would be 5 stars if the flash cards had example sentences and words. Learning characters in isolation is less useful! |
[2011-09-16] Michael: Great app. Would be 5 stars if the flash cards had example sentences and words. Learning characters in isolation is less useful! |
[2011-08-25] A Google User: Nice app but only 100 characters are free. After that you have to upgrade. |
[2011-08-25] Howard: Nice app but only 100 characters are free. After that you have to upgrade. |
[2011-08-15] A Google User: Would like to view already marked characters |

[2011-07-29] A Google User: +easy to use +great character selection choice -cannot view already marked characters -characters use screen space ineffectively *add audio or text 2 speech lib |

[2011-07-08] A Google User: I have the same problem as a previous commenter on a G2. Flip to a definition, and flip back to the character but the screen is now blank. |

[2011-06-14] A Google User: After the first 3 or 4 characters in a session, the characters no longer display. I'm using a T-mobile G2 win Android 2.2. |

[2011-04-18] A Google User: Slick, but lacking proper pinyin I don't like the tone numbers written at the end of each transliteration. Proper pinyin tone marks would convince me to buy the full version. |

[2011-03-28] A Google User: The best Chinese character learning app available! This is by far the best Chinese character learning app available on the market. I tried many before this one and there is no comparison. It's easy to use, intuitive and very helpful. There was no doubt i was going to upgrade to the Pro version after using the free version a couple of times. I had some trouble installing the Pro version but everything was solved after an email to the developer. 谢谢! |
