CAS for Android (v. 2.0) Разработано chad russell |
CAS for Android is the first computer algebra system for Android. Computer Algebra systems solve equations symbolically, meaning that rather than simply solving for a numerical value, answers can be left in terms of variables.
It can be used for classes ranging from Algebra I to Calc III.
CAS for Android currently supports:
Solving Ordinary Differential Equations
Both Definite and Indefinite Integrals (single, double, and triple)
Line Integrals
First, Second, and Third Derivatives
First, Second, and Third Partial Derivatives with respect to multiple variables
Calculating Arc Length
Calculating Tangent Lines and Tangent Planes
Calculating Taylor Series
Isolating Variables in Equations
Solving Systems of Equations
Computing Sums
Matrix Calculations
And More!
**Warning: does not work on phones with Android 1.5 or lower

[2012-11-23] A Google User: NFG This app is too complicated to use. Nothing comes intuitively. If you can decode the help files, you won't need a CAS tool at all. |

[2012-11-09] A Google User: Meh When I first got this it was the best I could find, and even then it was clunky; but now there really isn't any reason for anyone to get this. |

[2012-09-30] A Google User: CAS for Android Does not know normal distribution. Android editor needs cursor controls! Can't integrate 1/log(x). Stupid! I am installing it. |

[2011-12-31] A Google User: Disappointing CAS Poor implementation of a CAS |

[2011-07-03] A Google User: * Very poor user interface that uses qwerty keyboard for input * Operations don't provide any formatting help which forces you to guess-and-check |

[2011-01-28] A Google User: Good but needs more support for trig, for example the integration doesn't read the symbol pi. |
