BYKI COMMUNITY EDITION IS FOR USE WITH TRANSPARENT LANGUAGE ONLINE OR BYKI ONLINE AND REQUIRES ACTIVATION BEFORE IT CAN BE USED.
If you have a Transparent Language Online or Byki Online user account, you can activate your Byki Community Edition by entering the authorization code from within your personal account. These accounts are provided if you have access through a participating Public Library or School which subscribes to these services.

[2013-01-07] A Google User: Good but lacking functionality This is a good app for learning basic vocabulary but since it's really just repeating a small set of words over and over, it's pretty easy to pass the quizzes and still not remember all the words the next day. Would like to see some other features like ability to type in the word, or fill-in gaps. |

[2012-10-22] A Google User: Not even working right! I purchased the full BYKI Arabic app, which is fantastic. But trying to find a code for CLE was still ridiculous. Very difficult. Finally found it, and got the app to authenticate with the servers, but then the only languages I could choose were English and Ojibwe! Even after reinstalling. The content Byki CLE provides is awesome on the desktop, but pretty much a headache as an app. Please, please fix the bugs and make registration more straight forward! |

[2012-07-18] A Google User: Very impressed! (but make sure you get your code!) You need to get the code from the website which I had to access through my local library. Totally impressive app - well designed, works flawlessly on my very flawed Samsung Moment. Only minor complaint is you have to back out of the app to exit and before it will let you exit it has to reconnect with the server for some reason. Sometimes it gets stuck there if you have a bad signal. Needs a way to exit directly from the current lesson. |
