Assignment Planner FREE (v. 2.1.1)

To users having a problem with crashes / freezing:

The freezing of the application seems to be unique only to version 2.0. If you have not updated to the newest version of Assignment Planner (v2.1.1), doing so should resolve the problem.

Crashing seems to be caused by scalability issues. This problem will be resolved in the next update. Users who do not have a lot of data entered into the Assignment Planner seem to not have this problem.

I want to apologize to all users who have become frustrated with the latest bugs and I greatly appreciate all users who send me the crash reports so I can resolve any issues.



You can now backup your data or transfer your data from the FREE Version to the PRO version! Check further in the description for more information.

To transfer data from the FREE version to the PRO version:

1. Open up the FREE application and go to the "Settings" page.

2. Click "Export to SD Card" and click "Export" when the dialog appears. This will overwrite any previously backed up data. This includes any back up data from the FREE or PRO version! They both use the same directory on the SD Card.

3. After seeing an "Export Successful!" toast, open up the PRO version of Assignment Planner.

4. In the "Settings" page click "Import for SD Card" and click the "Import" button. WARNING: This will OVERWRITE all current assignments, courses, and grades and imports all data from the backup. This is strongly discouraged if you have already entered a lot of data into the PRO version.

5. After seeing an "Import Successful!" toast, your data has been imported successfully!

This also works vice versa - transfer data from PRO to the FREE version. The data is backed up to an SD card directory assignment_planner_backup.

IH DIG (Industrial Hygiene Data Interpretation Game) is a game which illustrates the need for industrial hygienists to use statistical tools EVERY TIME they interpret sampling data.  Studies in professional judgment show that expertise is best developed through focused training with instant feedback.  The IH DIG is a fun app to help Exposure Assessors train their unconscious data interpretation algorithms to better match a Bayesian Likelihood analysis.

Each game consists of 20 datasets ranging from 1-8 samples each.  Players must first review the dataset's OEL (Occupational Exposure Limit), the displayed sampling data and then choose the AIHA category where the 95th percentile MOST LIKELY falls into.  Positive points will be given for correct answers and negative points will be given for incorrect answers.  The faster a correct answer is given, the more positive points are given.  There are no point differences by time for incorrect answers.

A "Super IH" can interpret data more quickly and accurately than a "Dart Throwing Monkey".   See how quickly you can consistently rate as a "Super IH"!
