This application allows you to observe animals as if they were right in front you, which is something that is difficult to do even at the zoo. You can learn about special aspects of parts of the animals as you pinch out to zoom in on them. Select the part of the animal you are interested in, and zoom in on it as close as you can to find an explanation for that part. Every month, animals are scheduled to be added. There are new discoveries to be found not only for children, but also for adults, and so the application can be enjoyed by both parents and their children.
This application is brought to you by the UNESCO Kids Committee, which consists of the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris and other organizations.
UNESCO Kids is an environmental education project for children. Activities to provide opportunities for children to learn about World Natural Heritage sites through mobile phone sites and applications are conducted with the support of NTT DOCOMO.

Finally, a Android-based hobbyist robot controller that works with every microprocessor. There is no corresponding software required on the robot, you can write your own code to your heart's content.

A clean, simple app that features:

Joystick control via pushbutton and tilt
Auxiliary buttons
Voice Recognition and "voice commands"
Text to speech
Data can be sent to and from the robot for debugging

All that is needed is a cheap bluetooth unit (a BlueSmirf unit from SparkFun was used for testing) and any flavor of microcontroller. Arduino, Picaxe, Propeller, BS2, AVR --anything that can receive serial data can use this app. If you can send text to a LCD or a terminal, you can use this app. Baud rate from 9600 to 115,200 are supported and auto-detected.

This App is intended to be used on phones only. There has been some success using this App on tablets but we can not guarantee full function of the App when used on a tablet.

The Getting Greek: Word Roots App is a ligthweight yet powerful little app that assists Greek learners in mastering Koine word roots.  This app contains over 150 word roots.  Along with each Koine root, english definitions are given as well as mnemonic devices.  The aim of this app is to help students of Koine build their vocab, increase their speed in both word recognition and reading, get familiar with the fact that Koine words typically go through a process of formation, and also to get motivated to dig deeper into Koine Greek.  Word roots are arranged alphabetically and the interface is very user-intuitive.  This is a great resource for students, seminarians, laypersons, clergy, pastors, professors and ancient language-lovers alike.
