[2012-03-03] Anonymous: Force closes. Didn't even work once. Uninstalled. Samsung Wave Android 2.3. Will install once stable. |
[2012-03-03] SubtleBlade1889: Launches, loads feed, crashes. Repeat until install. |
[2012-03-02] Steve918: It works. Been using Yammer on Android for 3 years and now I finally have a working client that isn't a complete embarrassment. In fact the latest version is quite good. Not perfect, but a huge improvement. |
[2012-02-22] EriklMarum: Great inter-company app! We use this daily. Extremely usefully for everyone to communicate and stay in touch. Great corporate tool...for small or large companies. |
[2012-02-22] Frezh1: Good Product I think it needs more features but overall is good. |
[2012-02-21] Anonymous: Will not work blah force closes |
[2012-02-17] Kevin: Great way to stay connected with coworkers Love using Yammer to connect with people anywhere within our company. Share information and content, get answers, etc. |
[2012-02-16] Stanislav: Cannot use it - crashes every single time I am running Android 2.1. The app is supposed to support "1.6 an up". However, it does not support 2.1: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: android.database.sqlite.SQLiteDatabase.insertWithOnConflict |
[2012-02-15] Freek: Crashes constantly, unusable. |
[2012-02-13] Smarty: Took 3 attempts to download before it installed. It keeps crashing when it tries to load the news stream. Android v2.1u1 |
[2012-02-12] Scott: Good Works fine....no issues some have had. HTC sensation |
[2012-02-12] Tim C.: Topics? Things are better, but I'd like to see topics without needing a hashtag. |
[2012-02-11] Patrik: App is ok Please keep my position in the timeline when starting so I can read posts chronologically. |
[2012-02-11] Chad Kittel: Lost posts App works great for reading messages, but is touch and go in the sending department I've lost numerous posts - they just never went through, but the app assumed they did. |
[2012-02-10] CMSK: Gr8 tool Works well on the run. |
[2012-02-10] MadJo: So far so good I've just installed this app and so far I haven't encountered the issues the previous reviewers have mentioned. |
[2012-02-10] h4rrydog: Update fixed login probs 2.3.3 update seems to have fixed login problems. Knock on wood. Works great so far. ASUS Transformer, HTC Desire Z. |
[2012-02-10] Dave: Much improved! A really useful tool to keep everyone in the company aware of everything that is going on. Five stars when the app gets more of the functionality available in the web UI. |
[2012-02-07] Charles: I can login OK but it kicks me out when I try to view anything - Groups, Feed.... |
[2012-02-06] Buddy: Can't log in User/pass works on site. Not on app?! |
[2012-02-04] Mario Menti: Authentication problems make it unusable The app itself would be ok, but like others here it's impossible for me to stay signed in. If I do manage tosign in, which is rare, it invariably logs me out about 2 actions later, and then no longer recognises valid usernames/passwords. |
[2012-02-04] George: Tries to load feeds/private messages/networks for 20 seconds and then shuts down. NEEDS FIXING URGENTLY: YAMMER GET IT FIXED. |
[2012-01-28] julie: Cant open, always have to forceclose on andriod. Have to uninstall without ever getting to try it |
[2012-01-27] Joe: Login issues is an understatement. I will be uninstalling this app after installing it only five minutes ago. |
[2012-01-26] amit: Logout a lot an says: login error Also photo upload works like hell. |
[2012-01-22] Jonsey, benpaddlejones: Major logon issues Logs in, then logs out & Denny's access (yes I'm using correct username/password) |
[2012-01-20] Dan: Great concept. Logs in on HTC Eris, but closes when loading my feeds. Mobile internet version needs streamlined. |
[2012-01-20] Eoin: Not great. Some really poor design and navigation. |
[2012-01-19] Alex: Cannot login Never been able to login. |
[2012-01-19] Chuck: Updates don't always post Can't rely on an app that doesn't do one of it's 2 primary functions consistently. Make a mobile web version so I can look to something else besides the full desktop experience, which is awful on mobile. |
[2012-01-18] Deron: Login Error Cannot login. Continual error. Have yet to be able to use android app. |
[2012-01-18] chapablo: Log in issues The app will not recognize my log-in. Tells me incorrect username or password. But the same UN/PW works in the website. Very frustrating! |
[2012-01-17] Deshana: The app isn't loading |
[2012-01-13] Wise Guy: Hopeless Hardly ever connects Network error a lot of the time. Uninstalled. Would rather use the web. |
[2012-01-12] nonickname: Thanks for listening Fixing permission request much appreciated |
[2012-01-12] Mark: Boots me out each time I try to view my feed so I have to log in again. Android 2.1. |
[2012-01-12] M: More devs should be like this 5 stars for curating your app and removing unneeded permissions. |
[2012-01-12] C: Broken Broken: company feed link ejects to login screen and no longer recognises password. |
[2012-01-10] JamesB: I get bumped out switching from external network to home network |
[2012-01-10] fishtron: Sensitive log reading wtf |
[2012-01-10] Lance: Great Fixed the permissions, now updating. |
[2012-01-10] mawi: Ridiculously slow Using it to access our global company yammer network. Its so slow its ridiculous! Absurd! The PC app works but the android app is a joke. I enter a thread with 6 comments and an image - on WIFI - it takes 4-5 minutes to load! No joke! Completely ridiculous. May work fine for smaller company networks, but our for network its a joke. Really dissappointing. |
[2012-01-10] Evren: Needs to integrate with 'Share' It's important to be able to share articles easily on a social network. The yammer app needs to offer sharing from other apps such as news readers and Web browsers. |
[2012-01-09] Michael: Getting better |
[2012-01-09] Fredrik: Good Updated review. Works good on ICS now and does not require read sensetive data.s |
[2012-01-08] abe: Insecure Asks for permissions way beyond what it should need. Suspect secure programming practices have a very low standing at the company. |
[2012-01-07] Carl: Permissions You've gotta change like LinkedIn did or goodbye! |
[2012-01-05] Perttu: Unreliable. The UI is a mess. Needs to explain permissions. |
[2012-01-05] Camy: After installing n logging in cannot access my new feed |
[2012-01-04] Johan: Permissions Why do you need access to sentitive log information in the new update? |
[2012-01-04] Campbell: Permissions Why the need for reading sensitive log data now? Sorry, not updating. |
[2012-01-04] D-OveRMinD: ICS works Working fine on Verizon Galaxy Nexus with ICS. |
[2012-01-04] Matt: Permissions... Please explain these things in the update info. |
[2012-01-03] Kev: Sensitive log data = uninstall Permissions going too far. |
[2012-01-03] Julian: Fail on ics and honeycomb Latest log data update crashes on honeycomb and ics. Fail. Test your apps before updating. Will be encouraging my company to seek alternatives to yammer |
[2012-01-03] Heikki Henriksen: Poor upgrade Crashes on every start. ICS, Nexus. |
[2012-01-03] caffiend: Found a workaround On ICS, uninstalling the old version and then installing the new one fixed the crash-on-launch problem for me. Still unimpressed, but at least it works again |
[2012-01-02] Will: New update Reads sensitive log data? No thanks. Uninstalled |
[2012-01-02] X-R-Cist: Sensitive data Uninstalled, no need to access log data |
[2012-01-02] Vladimir: Still crappy |
[2012-01-02] darmawan: Easy acces.. Easier and faster to acces |
[2012-01-02] Pehr: Ics crash Reading sensative logdata = bad Also not working on ics. |
[2012-01-02] Yan-Fa: Doesn't support being a sharing intent That's basic android integration. Sharing from other apps... |
[2012-01-02] trulsjor: ICS crash What on earth were you thinking? Releasing a new app version without even bothering to perform even a single "will-it-float"-test on the latest Android version? |
[2012-01-01] tekiegreg: Permissions Uninstalling sorry can't have my log data... |
[2012-01-01] Dickson: "Reads sensitive log data" really?! |
[2011-12-25] Dave: no sharing, no tablet, no 5 star It is an exercise in frustration to use the yammer website with a tablet. Can't paste into update field. And there is no share with yammer option on phone app. Yammer is missing some basic features in the mobile Android space. |
[2011-12-15] Andy: Pretty terrible Sync between Desktop and Android app is really bad. Constantly getting alerted that I have new messages in My Feed, but I do not. |
[2011-12-14] KaraokeChad: Great access Good interface. Response could be improved. |
[2011-12-12] exerji: Very little customization Can't set updates to happen only when in WiFi. No way to set refresh interval > 1 hr. No control on notifications. Does the basic job. Unistalling. |
[2011-12-11] Oscar: Needs Send To functionality Just need to implement a way to send photos / web pages etc to Yammer. Thats pretty much standard ESS-functionality. |
[2011-12-11] Sam: Can't see on Android share menu. I have to jump through hoops to share in a sharing app! Silly really as it's a simple additional. Good update though. |
[2011-11-28] Jon: Great app The update is great! |
[2011-11-27] Max: v2.3 is a massive improvement. Threaded conversations for a start! Definitely on the right track now. |
[2011-11-25] BrianWong: Lack of functions Doesn't have many of the features that I would expect to be part of a basic social networking app. |
[2011-11-21] Charlie: Can't log in |
[2011-11-19] Sam: Login problems Login issues droid from last update |
[2011-11-17] Allison: Unimpressed The droid app won't let me log in but I don't have any trouble when I log in on my computer. |
[2011-11-16] AKASH: Poor Doesnt connect on my s2 ..says network error |
[2011-11-13] Clive: Yammer Perfect |
[2011-11-11] Alan: New version much improved Finding the latest version I downloaded today much improved. |
[2011-11-10] yaqub: Excellent update |
[2011-11-10] Mario: Needs to display full post without having to select the thread to see it all. It truncates paragraph too instead the whole thread. |
[2011-11-09] Tom: Hmm Offpeak/peak polling? This is a work product no? Plus, network.server error on individual posts... |
[2011-11-09] Zak: Asd Needs to be able to upload pics on Android. Id rather upload on the go vs connect to a desktop every time I want to upload pics. |
[2011-11-09] Tommy: Nice update Thanks for putting comments with the posts. Much easier to read thread now. |
[2011-11-09] gorkon: Update is nice but... Why is the Asus Transformer being shown as not compatible? I sideloaded it and it works fine so what gives?? |
[2011-11-09] Christiaan: Finally updated Update was very needed... Now it' s great! |
[2011-11-09] Jaap: Give my views back! The old version had a newest-first view. Let me chose what I want please. Both views are nice. |
[2011-10-20] Sam: Still lacking lots of fundamentals I get notified of my own posts! Thread view not practical. No link parsing when posting. Not in Android share menu for web/files/photos |
[2011-10-20] the 11/9/2011 Limited iPhone port have to exit and use it from a browser to access features that aren't here. Design isn't very android native. Ex: a custom back button? Why? |
[2011-10-14] Julien: Avoid Yammer. Poor UI, killing battery. Need push support instead of pull. Can't install Linux version instead, not supported... We switched to another service. |
[2011-10-12] JerJer: IPhone App Functionality Needed! |
[2011-10-05] jonathan.lonczak: Decent App Should allow for move to SD Card, Multiple Yammer Accounts, and better notifications |
[2011-10-04] Brianary: Terrible Less than amateurish. A single stream of comments vomited out of context. |
[2011-09-29] Amir: Ok app. Although annoying that it doesn't recognize URL s in a feed or allow copying of text in a feed. :( |
[2011-09-28] Tarrah: Yammer on The only thing I wish could be I.proved on is not notifying me of a new message when I actually sent it |
[2011-09-23] Vicky: Cant refresh my feeds as it keeps on showing the "network error"!! Pls improve it. |
[2011-09-23] Patrick: Reasonably usable, cant really complain when it's free. Would've been 4* if it accepted android sharing intents... Pretty small but extremely useful. |
[2011-02-23] Marko: Not bad, but the feed needs some work... |
