VMMonitor is a robust background service that notifies you when there is a pending voice mail or SMS text message. Works where other alert apps fail! VMMonitor triggers a repeating user select-able audible and/or vibration notification on a user defined scan period. If your phone is asleep, you can set VMMonitor to wake the phone and place a notification in the status bar. Sync the notifications with your sound profile (silent, vibrate only, etc).

Lost your phone? You can set a remote alarm trigger that is activated by sending your phone a user-defined SMS Text message. When the alarm is activated, the phone overrides any silent or vibrate-only mode and sounds a loud siren that can help you locate a lost phone. After the initial trigger, the alarm will resound at every scan cycle. Never lose your phone again!

Note: Please be aware if your provider (ATT, Verizon, Sprint, etc) has replaced the standard Android voice mail function with their own voice mail app, the voice mail notification feature *may* not work. Since a third party voice mail app has a proprietary interface, there is no way for VMMonitor to know if a voice mail is waiting.

[2012-09-07] Jose: Works great on HTC Evo shift I tried others, but didnt work well with my rooted and flashed Evo on Boostmobile network. This app allows me to know when there is a voicemail via ringtone, vibration,or icon. Thanks guys for this great app. |

[2012-05-04] Eric: Best support ever! I went through other VM apps and none worked with my Infuse(including theirs at first). I got a refund and noted my problem. They contacted me and over the course of 9 days, wrote 6 different software versions until they finally fixed my problem. That is the difference between them and the other guys, they care enough to improve their software while the other guys take your money and give you crappy software. |
