CONNECT is used to help academic conference attendees meet their networking goals. The idea behind it is to build on the use of business cards and stay green. When you meet people at a conference that you would like to keep in touch with, you typically exchange business cards. The problem with this is that there's no indication of why you wanted to keep in touch with that person in the first place. That's where CONNECT comes in. You are able to make a CONNECTion, which exchanges your information, and include a comment so when you look back you can remember why you wanted that person's contact information.

The CONNECT Android application is a branch of the CONNECT Project.

You must have a login and password from a CONNECT-enabled conference to use this application.

NOTE: Vibrate and location are only used by Bump.

Haven't you ever wanted to set up a meeting with your followers on Twitter? You may not have their emails, keep track of who is coming might be tedious... Publish with Mweet and everything will be easier. You write you tweet and Mweet takes your position as the default meeting place (although you can set a different position). Choose how long the event will last. Only the closest followers will be notified about the meeting, and they will be able to answer simply and fast. This way, you will keep track of who is coming now, later or won't go. As soon as the meeting is over (you chose the lasting time) Mweet will not notify anyone else.
As a Mweet user, you choose how often you want to check Twitter for meetings and how far these could be. If you are interested in any of them just click on it and you will be able to answer and know where it's happening.
Mweet is not a usual Twitter client. You will only receive "mweetins" (Tweets sent with Mweet).
