[2012-08-25] A Google User: If you want no-nonsense scrolling text, use this Having tried a LOT of the free/trial versions of scrolling text apps on the market, I can confidently say this is the best one so far if you just want a straightforward scrolling text app. There are no ads, no abusive permissions like reading your phone identity or writing to SD, just smooth scrolling text that fits the whole screen. Fonts are basic, and are much easier to read at a distance than up close - but that's the whole point of the app, and what sets it apart from other apps that use fancy decorative fonts that are impossible to read across a room. The only improvements that wouldn't turn this into another over-the-top melange of effects would be a completely plain sans-serif font, some preset colours to pick from when you're in a hurry and don't want to fiddle with the colour sliders, and the ability to keep the display from sleeping for long messages. |

[2012-03-15] A Google User: Simple app for scrolling text.. .. does the job. Sliders for changing the text are so unresponsive though, they'll have you pulling your hair out. |
