Travelling to Thailand and don’t know Thai language? With Thai Dialogs application in your pocket, you don’t need to!
Thai Dialogs is extremely helpful for learning Thai and comes handy when you are traveling. It provides translation for the most commonly used phrases and reads them for you. These dialogs are categorized into 6 categories:
1. Expressions and words
2. Greetings
3. Help and directions
4. Introduce yourself
5. Requests and apologies
6. Wish someone
In addition to the common dialogs, Thai Dialogs helps translate text from English to Thai. So, the next time you are in Thailand or anywhere Thai is spoken, you will not be lost asking for directions or feeling out of the place.

[2011-08-04] David: decent, but a bit sloppy ok, but flawed. Some phrases give you alternate options, but don't bother to explain them (is one variation for males and another for females? If so, which one is which?). Includes some obscure phrases while more basic ones are missing. The sections aren't overly helpful (took me ages to find "thank you" because it was in an ill-fitting section like "greetings"). After consulting some locals, it seems that some phrases are wrong (or at least unorthodox). Also, some thai characters were displayed scrambled. |
