TexTab Lite в Android Market

Notes:
- Install the app on both your phone and tablet!
- If you have trouble connecting, turn bluetooth off and on on both devices. If that doesn't work, restart both devices.
- If you don't receive incoming messages on the tablet, and you are running Go SMS, make sure to uncheck "disable other message notification" in the Go SMS settings.
- This is a trial version with a limited number of sent messages. If you like it, please purchase the full version with unlimited messages!

TexTab is an SMS app for Android phones and tablets. It allows you to send and receive SMS messages on your tablet, as if you were sending them from your phone. Once a connection is established between your phone and tablet using bluetooth, you can send messages using TexTab, and received messages will show up on the tablet.

Features:
- Honeycomb optimized, though not required
- Contact information is pulled from your synced Google contacts
- Widget to enable/disable TexTab. Widget also displays connection information
- Notifications for received messages on tablet

Trail, not "lite" Cant use contacts, must type every number in to text. No links to phone contacts or images. No images, or other features. Connection is good, but to basic. Uninstall. Fix these issues and give us a true lite version to test, then ill consider it.

So so During the trial period it would work most of the time but then started to lose BT connection and also started freezing. Multiple resets and force close didn't help reliability. Also, it would be a better app if it synced all your phone contacts with the tablet so you can send texts from the tablet without having to enter the phone number.

Works well This is a great trial and let's you get a good feel for the app. Overall I like the app and it works very well but I was disappointed that it didn't include a call notification. I am going to look into other similar apps.

Must Have! This app is great. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and this app allows me to text from my tablet thru my cell phone via Bluetooth. Both send and receive text messages with no problem. I will be purchasing the paid version immediately. If you have a tablet and want to use it for texting, this app is a must have!

It works but ... Connected my LG Marquee>G-Slate & works perfectly. Love the convenience. Has potential. Needs improvement to warrant paying for it. Called Lite when it's really a limited trial version. Vast difference. Misleading name. Provides bare bones text. What there is of a UI leaves a lot to be desired. I would never pay since it's inferior to the crappy stock Android text app on my phone.

Nice, just needs some tweaks This app is awesome very easy to use and setup. Only thing I do not like is after using it for 20 min or so I find that I keep hitting the 'enter' key, which doubles as a 'send' button, so its very easy to send a message when trying to backspace. This is quite annoying but otherwise use full app. Emailing Dev for option to disable enter key ( or have it at least do a newline instead of send). Nexus 7 paired with Droid 4

Works great! If you text a lot, you will easily burn through the free versions limited number. When I open up my sms app, it doesnt show the texts as unread though but that's okay. HTC Sensation 4g and Asus Eee Pad Transformer

Works Perfectly So if you can't get it to connect... chances are you are technology impaired and should consider life in an Amish village. It connected right away for me and works flawlessly. Didn't work for me. I tried all sorts of things, but couldn't receive messages on my tablet. It would send from the tablet only. I tried mysms and it works without a problem and gives you the ability to use your PC as well as syncing all three. It's not perfect and has seemed to not give me all incoming text's so hopefully that is something I can fix. Try mysms if you can't get this to work.

Works good others need to read The desc says trial w/ limited # of sent messages so complaining it only lasted a few hours to a couple days is ridiculous. Good app Its a good app it works great with no delay in sending or receiving messages... no need for constant background sync like sync SMS but it could use a better UI and a way to see who the message was from. having to click thru each contact to see who the message is from kind of sucks. But I will keep it installed I like it better than any other apps of its kind.
