== INSTRUCTIONS ==
1. Install and run the voice app once 
2. Install free SVOX Classic Text-to-Speech Engine 
3. Go to Android Settings -> Voice Input & Output -> Text-to-Speech settings.
Activate SvoxClassic at the bottom of the screen.
Select SvoxClassic as the Default Engine.
4. Run the voice app, click “Continue”, then follow the instructions.
5. Your SVOX Voice main screen will be now visible. Don’t forget to try the new pronunciations correction feature (‘pencil’ icon)!
6. Download other free / paid apps to combine our voice with. For example, you could try: Google Navigation (on Android 2.2 and later, only with Navigation < 5.9), Moon+ Reader PRO, Voice Actions Plus, TalkToMe Classic, Book Speech Audio Books, Transzilla, Good Morning, WakeVoice, Pocket Blonde...

1. Run the voice app
2. Click on the ‘pencil’ icon. The pronunciation correction screen will now be shown.
3. Tap on the Android menu key and select ‘Help’

1. Google Navigation requires that the Text-to-Speech voice matches the phone language. You can change the phone language in Android Settings -> Language & keyboard -> Select language

Sexy Love taking sexy Vicky out for a spin. This has the facility for you to change mis-pronounced words. It shouldn't be marked down for that? Sometimes she pops out for a coffee and the Pico lady takes over, but that's ok. Well worth the money, and infinitely adjustable too!

The voice sounds great, more so when compared to US Grace, only issues are some words she say's wrong, but most TTS apps have those issues, so hopefully over time they get worked out so that no matter the words, she knows how to pronounce them. Other then that, love this purchase!

installed on Sprint E4GT & Nexus 7 Works great on both devices however on the Nexus 7 tablet, whenever the text to speech is invoked it throws an error message "please reinstall the app". The voice functions fine in spite of the error message.

Please fix the Reinstall Error Notification On my Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7, I get a notification error to 'please reinstall the app' - please fix this. Until than, I found a work-around to stop the annoying error notification - at least it works with 4.1. Do Settings - Apps - select the SVOX Voice app you downloaded - uncheck the Show Notifications box.

Abandoned! Looks like the developer has abandoned the project. Product worked fine on Gingerbread. ICS not so much. All third party apps kept saying that voice data was not installed. It is but won't be for long. Worked with Google Maps. That's it. Emailed Dev and no response. Not surprising as last update was December 2011. Switched to Ivona. Works great!

Does not work on Android ICS ice cream sandwich ICS has been out for awhile the developers need to update the engine. SVOX Classic TTS says it supports Android 4.0 ICS. People are having a lot of issues. Has anyone gotten Victoria or Grace to work on ICS? I am running 4.0.3 on a Galaxy S2. I have fully paid for legit versions of SVOX Classic TTS, Victoria, and Grace. The applications will work solo but not as the Preferred TTS engine. It says "Language package not available. Start Google market to install language package?" Please share information to fix the problem or expose the issue to spur results. ------------------------------------------------ Installed SVOX classic then Victoria then Settings > Personal > Language and input > Text-to-speech output > select SVOX Classic TTS > Listen to a sample of Victoria > Select preferred voice per language > Victoria is selected

ICS support poor If I reboot the phone then I have to open the voice and get it to play a test sample before other apps can use it, after that it is fine until the next reboot . Very frustrating. Great voices, poor Jelly Bean support This and the Oliver voice are the best voices me using text to speech. However, there is a clear bug in JellyBean that causes a reinstall message to constantly popup in the status bar. Had to uninstall it until the issue is fixed. The parent app to these voices is terrible.

I love this app For novice users, like myself, realize that this works with any speaking assistants. Just install SVOX (free) first, then if you have any trouble figuring out how to apply her voice, email the developer for step by step instructions. Anyway, I'm a female but I like Victoria, just sounds more professional and realistic. Try her out as a trial first (any of them) to see which suits you.
