Stopify listens for events such as missed calls, text messages and gmails when you are walking. If you don't notice the event, Stopify will wait until you stop and try to notify you again.
Why is that good?
Sensitivity for vibrations in one part of your body is significantly reduced when that part is moving. Therefore, you are much more likely to notice vibrations when you are still rather than walking.
Who is Stopify for?
Stopify was designed for people who keep their phone in their pocket. But since you are more likely to hear the notification sound when you are standing still rather than moving, it can also be useful for people carrying their phone in their purse for example.
