Worst app ever Just look at the last update for this aap, november 2011. Hanged my phone whilw backing up and automatically created multiple sms copies.... hate such app... why do they exist here. Don't wanted to give even a single star.

Good, basic app. Tried it when I reset my phone. Works perfectly. Doesn't take up a lot of space or need a lot of permissions. Aims for function over flash.

Works simply and perfectly I used this brilliantly small & simple app to successfuly migrate my SMSs to my new phone. It does not use any of the intrusive permissions of some similar apps. If you are not technical this may help you. Install this app on both phones. Use the app to back up the old phone. Transfer the SD card to the new phone (or if you have no SD card, use a file manager to share the file to the new phone from and to the folder sdcard/SMSBackup). Then restore the file via this app. Simple.

Backup works perfectly, but restore does not :( Minimum permissions, but use only for backing up. Restore does not work. Backed up 260, restored 3. Now using backup option available in messages application.

WARNING if it says fored close click wait it will work & call it may take a couple clicks on green restore button to highlight but works If you send message to multiple ppl the will show up as individual when restored WORKS GREAT just don't forget to dismount you're sd card ;)
