Does not record ON ANDROID I have a Galaxy Nexus running Jelly Bean. **Sanity is incapable of recording phone calls except via the microphone, which means you can only hear your own voice** I contacted the developer, Cristiano, and he said it's a limitation in Android. He was unwilling to refund the cost because, he said, I should have checked the free version first. He claims the app works as advertised because it still records the call... you just can't hear the other caller. My name is Adam Keeton.

Developer does not respond I purchased this app.But when I try to get some assistance by sending him mail from sanity of my phone he never replies.Also when try to post a comment in his website it does not get posted.All the postings there are of one year back.I think he does not maintain that site now.I am now in a pathetic situation. LATEST REVIEW I am putting a further review after using Sanity for more than 3 months.It's recording functions fully now.I can record outgoing and incoming calls automatically now,that too without using microphone!I put the audio source to voice recognition and the handsfree made off.And the recording can be made in all the three audio formats,MPEG4,3GPP & AMR! Hence 5 stars and recomend this apk to everybody!!! I have recently upgraded my Milestone to CM9 4.0.4.Besides Sanity's Call Recorder I am using it's Call Blocker also now.Fantastically it blocks all unwanted calls!What a perfect apk!! It will be a loss to those who have not installed this!!!

Optomist Can turn record on and off throughout conversation, unlike others that pop up, in your way, then can not be found when the conversation gets funny.

Absolutely fantastic I use the app since june 2011. Works great, records what I filtered call both in/out. SE xperia x10 mini pro 2011, worked well on defauld andoid, works also in gingerbread

Great idea, but very buggy Cannot recommend this app though its a great idea. I bought it after a too-short trial of the free version. At random times, it'll grab the CPU and won't let go (almost disabling the phone completely) till one reboots. Couldn't get the recording feature to work either. Samsung Galaxy Note

Listening to Recorded Conversations I DO LOVE THIS APP!!! It worked well for me the first week or so, so much that I purchased the DONATE version ..however now all of a sudden it wont play the audio through my phone. Now it also gives me an error message when trying to record..Screen reads, "Sanity error: unable to record audio" whats up with that???

It was good When I first downloaded the program worked great. After update it no longer does what its supposed to. Now has random freezes and buggy settings. Support not very helpful and a bit rude/demanding .

HTC Desire S - It Works - 2 Way Recording I spent 4 days trying to record both sides of incoming and outgoing calls. This works. Admittedly better on speakerphone, but works without the speakerphone on too. It is just what I have been looking for and nearly spent £300 earlier to get this facility having tried everything. Try the free version limited to two minutes. It's fiddly to start with till you get used to how it works, but once done, it's easy and user friendly. I set mine to record as mp4's so downloaded VTC mp4 player free from the internet and it plays fine, click organise, you can cut and paste into a folder on your desktop. I am so pleased, this has to be the best £2.00 I've ever spent. If it isn't working, I suspect you are doing something wrong. I tore my hair out thinking it didn't work, then realised the recorder wasn't switched on (drag down task bar and tap to record). What it lacks are good instructions, but once you've worked it out, it is more than acceptable, especially once downloaded to your pc. An absolute must have app for anyone wanting to record conversations without fiddling around with settings of their expensive phone.
