Past160 not only allows you to send/receive a single long text message over 2000+ characters, but also gives you the power to remotely delete messages off the recipient's phone! You can reach out and remotely delete either the last text you sent or the entire conversation.
Add as a Widget! Long press on any empty space on your homescreen. You'll then notice the "Widgets" option. Click on the widget menu then click on Past160 to place on your Android home screen.
For advanced functions the other phone must have either Past160 or SecureCell installed. All your texts are stored in a private database that is both encoded and password protected, preventing casual access to your private text messages.

[2011-02-24] FoxKat: Can't backup SMS messages to SD card anymore!!! Previous to installing, I could use SMS Backup and Restore (or other similar apps) to keep an archive of all text messages, and I have a complete history of all texts since getting the phone. Now, those messages are not stored inside the default database in the phone but instead inside a custom database for 160+, so backup programs can not see them, nor can the default Android text messaging software. Please offer a way to export them to the Android text message database container so they can be backed up |
