It installed Fast Free Converter-a malware that opened random ad pages, installed addons on 2 of my 3 browsers, and impossible to delete. It opens a back door for spyware and Trojans. [2013-08-05] A Google User: Does not sync Outlook Calendar ! Samsung Galaxy Note 2 user. The calendar sync doesn't work properly. Meetings sent from another timezone reflect on my calendar in the same source timezone. Not my local timezone. I get woken up at unearthly hours with a calendar reminder. Meetings changed on my Outlook calendar don't reflect properly on MPE calendar. I live by my calendar .... NOT HAPPY ! Other features are good ... but the calendar issues are forcing me to look at other Software/Apps. If you are reading this ... pls help ... I'd love to continue using MPE. |

[2013-07-31] A Google User: Incredible! I have used this application for many years having first discovered it when using a Sony Ericsson phone (C902). When this app became available for Android phones, that's when I moved to an Android phone. It offers full organisation of a phone from calendar functions to sending and receiving text messages from the computer desktop (far easier than tapping at a little screen). Texts are organised in a very intuitive, Outlook fashion and can be written in a manner that spans multiple texts (if one wishes to send a large text). The application synchronises with Outlook and Thunderbird easily and furthermore offers the ability to backup and restore the contents of the phone (including files and applications). I have found this most useful when buying a new (android) phone. Simply create a backup with the old phone, plug the new phone into the computer, and perform a restore from the backup file created. Easy as wink as my father used to say. I was so impressed that when the last update came around (perhaps a year ago now), I made a donation of 20 euros to the cause. The developer is a consummate professional and I cannot commend him / her highly enough! Thank you indeed! |

[2013-07-30] A Google User: Excellent and only ALL-IN-ONE sync The best and the only ALLinOne sync for android and PC. One could backup all contacts, sms, calls. No need to go on air, the multiple email accounts can take care of the data as well. Wifi router can take care without the internet connection for sync purpose. Additional request. I wish the developers could provide an option for the dual sim users to choice between the service provider for calling, sms, contacts etc. Here the first sim is defualt carrier for all sync. Please developers do something in this regard. A wonderful app. |

[2013-07-29] A Google User: Excellent PC ~ Android syncing app I use this app all the time, mostly Tasks, Appointments (which sync with Google+ Calander) and sending a long SMS which would be arduous to tap into my mobile. I've set it up so I just turn bluetooth on my mobile and it's ready to interact with the PC client. There is only one bug I'm aware of is that if you add a Descripton for a Task, it becomes the default description text on subsequent created tasks until overwritten. I attempted to donate from the website but Pay Pal is the only payment option which I don't use (prefer just straight credit card payment). |

I did create backup but restoring back has been nothing less than a pain in the a##. Forced me to revisit my grading from five star to one. Sync is fine but watch out for other functions. [2013-07-14] A Google User: Trouble with new Samsung Galaxy 4? After using this, and donating, for a few years on my Samsung Droid Charge, I got a new Samsung Galaxy S4. Although my version of Outlook (2010) is the same, and I'm using the Business Calendar Pro on my phone, as I did before, I can no longer get the sync to work. It seems no matter what I do, MPE wants to delete appointments from the calendar on my phone and I can't figure out why. I agree that the tutorials and tech support for this product have always been "iffy" and I would hate to lose it. Will write the developer and post here if I find the missing information. Is anyone else using this on a Galaxy 4 (jelly bean 2.2)? And are you having problems - or did you find it had to be used differently? Thanks |

[2013-07-09] A Google User: trying it out.....warning: downloads 4 other pgms Have the new Galaxy 4 and downloaded this since Samsung KIES does NOT work at all. Out of frustration I finally gave up and am trying this. Appears to work great. Didn't duplicate my contacts or make a mess out of my Outlook calendar. WARNING: It does download four other applications to your computer. Microsoft Security Essentials caught one of them as malware. I ended up going into programs and deleting the other programs. |

[2013-07-05] A Google User: Amazing app! (SGS3 on stock 4.2.1) This is the most reliable and the fastest Outlook-Android sync app I could find, both free and paid! It's able to make use of USB and WiFi, it offers all the needed options for fine tuning the sync process and it informs the user about the changes it is going to make, offering even more individual options! It syncs with Android calendar and contacts list, which is another plus. It syncs events, tasks, contacts, notes flawlessly - I never lost any entry during syncronization! It allows full file access in the storage compartment and read-only access in rest (if rooted). Storage backup is also readily available.The only downside is the tasks database implementation, which misses tasks recurrence. Anyway, a 5-star app, as it's almost perfect! Well worth a donation! |

I didn't want to use the Cloud or have to buy a third party app to sync. File transferring with Outlook sync is a bonus to me and being able to have the option to connect to my network via wi-fi is very convenient. Certainly worth giving a donation. |

As of now it has no support for dual sims phones, it only gets the contacts from the phone itself. I got it due to sync problems between Kies and Outlook! works wonders now! But what caught my attention was the control phone screen! it is really cool and useful! Thanks! |

[2013-06-19] A Google User: Rescued my phone! I smashed my screen on my lovely Samsung Galaxy Note II and couldn't view or interact with the display. I do regular backups but I had some important new photos and messages that hadn't been backed up yet and I wanted to retrieve them before sending the phone to be repaired or replaced. I installed this app remotely through Google Play store online, installed the PC software and connected my phone by USB. It not only allowed me to retrieve my data, but also let me to view and interact with my phone's display on my PC so I could do a full backup with Titanium for good measure. I was very impressed with how easy this app was to use and I'll certainly be using this again. Thank you! |

Of 1700 contacts on Outlook and 2 devices each, 1/3 were wiped out so I lost a huge amount of contact data that had taken years to accumulate. REALLy bad! Screwed. |

[2013-06-11] A Google User: awful performance / no support ... DO NOT DONATE! I have an Android Motorola RAZR MAXX HD phone with a 64G micro card. All I want to do is sync pics and music and this app fails miserably after 6 months of trying to get it to work. I've wrestled with this app for many many hours. Posting problems on the MPE forum will not get a response for over a week. Connection is hit or miss and maintaining that connection during a long sync is next to impossible. Syncronization is very unreliable and could frequently leave you with thousands of mistakenly deleted files. If this mistake happens on the PC side, thank God for your recycle bin. If this mistake happens on the phone side, kiss those files goodbye forever. I've lost many pictures this way. Syncronization rarely remembers what was or was not synched. For example, after waiting hours for my music to sync, I would simply ask it to synch again, expecting MPE to say "all files are up to date". Wrong, MPE starts to get ready for 118 hours of synching! Is actually says "deleting 2,483 files, creating 2,483 files". Really? Synchronization frequently duplicates files. This is a mess to clean up and you have to do it manually. by searching for files with "(1)" in the |

I rely on Outlook (without Exchange server) at home and work. And I use =all= the features. So until now, I could only sync mail and calendar via Google, then cobble together awkward and unreliable combinations of software to get access to my tasks and notes. I've just completed 2 days of testing MPE, and it does everything I need, and does it reliably. Thank you for this fine solution, Franz. I also recall a setting for the sync direction (to PC, to phone, both), which was great to cope with instabilities in e.g. Outlook or the phone itself. Missing that now! Would give 5* if such function would be back in. |
