This is the Android Mumble Client.
Mumble is a VoIP based communication system very similar to Ventrilo and Team Speak.

[2013-03-24] A Google User: Worked This app isn't the most well designed, but I got into my Mumble server and talked with people. They even said it sounded good, though I needed headphones so they wouldn't hear themselves from the speaker. No noticable lag. I was on wi-fi, though. Once they make the UI easier to navigate (you'll understand) it will get a 5 star rating. EDIT: Download the other Mumble client on the Play store. This one is out of date. |

[2012-11-10] A Google User: speaker must set to 45+ KBit, else are silent current github versions of mumble still have an annoying limitation: if s.o. sets his speech data rate to less than ca. 45 KBit, mumble clients cannot hear them. lower data rates do not work with Android mumble. It is a limitation of the speech codec. but the android upstream rate can be low. |

[2012-10-20] A Google User: Works, needs a lot of polish needs: * Echo cancellation if possible * Ability to listen via smaller phone speaker (instead of always going through the loudspeaker, which causes echos BADLY, see first wish above) ... BUT ... notifications need to keep going through the loudspeaker so that you can hear when someone joins. App also tends to crash when closing instead of closing gracefully. |

The other mumble app on the market also seems to have this problem. It may ne crashing when repeative mic on off is pushed from me or another person. Anyhow the crashing seems related to talking |

[2012-05-15] A Google User: TPC760 This client works great on my tablet! Connected to my home server, now I can talk on my device while away from home (as long as I am connected to a wifi). Sound is just as good as if I was using Mumble on an actual PC. Only one thing I have found that could be better, that being the list of channels could be separated into Sub-channels. But I won't knock a star for that. |
