Using this app, you can select an English phrase and view its translation and how to pronounce it in the foreign language.
This app was developed as an entry to the CIO/G6 "Apps for the Army" competition, and is based on the modules publicly available online from the U.S. Defense Language Institute.

"Are there armed men near here?", "you are our prisoner, we must search you", "where is the grappling hook?", "I'm fine, thanks, and you?" and "evacuate the area!" provide light-hearted fun for those of us not currently searching for landmines or interrogating prisoners. Great app! |

[2012-07-10] A Google User: No Pinyin? There's no way to read the phrases without pinyin, making it rather useless. The phrases are pretty funny though. |
