[2012-06-11] Iain: Fantastic This upgrade to the pro version is pretty much the most I've ever spent on an app, and it wasn't because the ads on the free version annoyed me in particular or that I especially wanted the extra features of the "pro" version. It was simply that I was so imposed with this email app that I felt the author deserved to be paid directly for his outstanding work. Does everything you could possibly want in an email client and more - and is far cleaner, easier to use and well supported than anything else. |
[2012-06-09] flansch: Complete feature set. Only missing the ability to access IMAP folders when offline. |
[2012-06-07] Hans: Not cheap, but quite good Like others, I think the conversation view could be improved. Messages not always recognized as belonging to an existing thread. But overall well designed and a pleasure to use. |
[2012-06-06] Shitty: Excellent email app Been using this app for a while now, would never go back to any of the others. |
[2012-06-01] Michael: Used to be amazing With the latest update the home button which is used to change between accounts is now at the top right of the screen which make it impossible to use with one hand with screens over 4" (using s2) . Very, very annoying please put at the bottom of the screen as before . |
[2012-06-01] Justin: Dont love it Hello? ADD A WIDGET THAT IS THE APP ICON WITH A BADGE OF NOTIFICATION NUMBERS! i cant believe i paid 17.99 and you dont have this.feature. I.dont need the widget that reads email that is pointless |
[2012-05-31] Wendy: JUST EXCELLENT!! I say "Ditto"to everything that John below me just wrote! |
[2012-05-29] Derek: Connection - CAUTION Unfortunately I have not been able to establish a link with my hotmail accounts. Contacted Joe at maildroid a number if times but we have not been able to resolve the problem. Going to try Touchdown. Requested a refund but declined by Maildroid as I rated the app 1*. £12.42 of trust down the pan. |
[2012-05-27] Nostalgic: Icon Great app! I love it and you did a good job. Please let us have an option of changing the icon. I am not particularly fond of spiders! Please I beg of you. It would be perfect if the icon can be changed. |
[2012-05-26] David: Improved Original mail Droid was buggy, but seems to have been improved a lot |
[2012-05-24] Fredo: Excellent Main email program now. Great improvement over previous versions and a cut above other email programs. Great Job! |
[2012-05-21] Olegs: Probably the best email client for Android! Tried a lot of different email client solutions and looks like this is the best for now! |
[2012-05-21] pablo: Needs Better Widgets Its a really good app but i was expecting a choice of widgets and of much better quality. 2 or 3 good, well styled widgets would make this a 5* |
[2012-05-19] cliff: Excellent I've tried many mail APPS and this is by far the best out there. Able to handle multi mail clients in one place. Well worth the money. |
[2012-05-17] SteveMo: No MAC server support Would have been great if it supported icloud Mac mail |
[2012-05-16] William: Best email app! I've tried them all including Yahoo, this one is the best. Try the free version first. |
[2012-05-16] Rees: Great stuff Am new to Android and quickly became fed up with the default mail app. Maildroid is a fantastic client with a load of functionality and a clean user interface. I tried the free version for a few days and didn't hesitate to support the devs and invest in a quality piece of software which I feel will last me a long time on my new phone. |
[2012-05-14] Gcd: Perfect Tried lots of mail clients but this is definitely the best! |
[2012-05-11] Bret: Great Email App I've been trying to use this for several months now. In my opinion, it is one of the best apps for handling all of your email needs. |
[2012-05-11] Paul108h: Would like to share emails with other apps |
[2012-05-04] scott: The best email app I have been playing with all other than the other email applications... K9/inomail/kaiten/Gmail.. And maildroid wins... The sync is instant with my Gmail account... Also the developer is great.. If you have a question they get back to you in a timely manner |
[2012-05-03] Neil: This is the best by far.!!! THE BEST EMAIL APP ON ANDROID PERIOD. GREAT JOB KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. EVERYTHING ELSE IS A DISTANT SECOND. WORTH EVERY PENNY |
[2012-05-03] dlh: maildroid I have tried numerous to get an issue resolved and the developer only says that he doesn' understand what I am talking about. The problem remains that the app continuously force closes and in turn I am forced to have to re-enter all of my syncing information. This problem has gone on for several weeks to date. One ( 1 ) STAR just for the try. Thought it would have been just the right mail app. I am wrong. |
[2012-05-03] Toni: Great, but we need fonts choice n size Great, easy, intuitive BUT....pls give us the choice to change fonts and at least size from the open "compose" email window. TX a lot! |
[2012-05-02] John: Best Email This is hands down the BEST email client in the Market. It catalogs 4 of my accounts without flaw and pushes mail quickly between them. Much better than Gmail or Mobile Hotmail. Don't miss Blackberry mail anymore. Finally a good replacement. Had free version and decided to buy. Worth the high price of admission. |
[2012-05-02] Styx: Super mail client I love it. It is one of my most important app. Well done. |
[2012-04-28] Claude: Awesome App Does everything it says it will and more. Developers respond quickly and address issues fast. |
[2012-04-27] Jim: Update as promised I promised 5 stars after a few bugs were fixed, Great job. All the issues were resolved . The developer tries very hard to improve the app. Well worth the money. Thanks again |
[2012-04-27] John: Best email app This is absolutely the best email client for Android that I have found. I don't even use my PC to check or respond to emails any longer. Definitely a good investment. |
[2012-04-27] Mark: Galaxy Nexus The best I've found yet! It's even replaced my PC E-mail. |
[2012-04-27] Mike: Easy Works well, nice UI |
[2012-04-27] valmar: Fantastic Very good email client but please allow to choose a more neutral icon for the notifications, something like an envelope |
[2012-04-26] Mark: Excellent but... Faster than android stock email or the Gmail client BUT terribly SLOW at deleting mail.... If you get a lot of mail and multiple accounts this client will frustrate you. |
[2012-04-26] Him: Worth paying for It is bit pricy but worth it for not having ads, which run down your battery. A good app. |
[2012-04-26] Renny: Excellent... I don't know what the first poster means. If you're tired of deleting Inbox mail one at a time, this app is perfect. Check them all and send them to Trash. And it's instantaneous. Far better than Android mail. And customer help is outstanding. Get this app.. |
[2012-04-25] Martin: Best |
[2012-04-25] Doug: The BEST 'Nuf said! |
[2012-04-25] mdalacu: Almost perfect, but... Please add the possibility to embed images in html mail body (not as an attachment). Stock Samsung email app has this feature. |
[2012-04-23] Manuel: Ui a little funky but no doubt the best app. I have been looking for an email app because the stock app for the Galaxy Note sucks. This one is by far the best in my opinion. Everything I tried was junk. This allows to multi select a bunch of emails and "mark them read"...people of Samsung...give me a break....I am coming from blackberry...I can't believe this is not a standard feature in any Android email client.....I love my Note...but that was a surprise with so many other capabilities..that such a simple feature gets overlooked.... |
[2012-04-18] tokionoko: Galaxy Note Blue "Try Now" text button to refresh connection no longer works after the latest updates. I still have trouble with a timeout or extreme slowness moving to IMAP folders so the "Try Now" button is crucial. Stock email app is much faster with this. Would still love the ability to be able to schedule the sending of mail. Also searching mail needs to be quicker. I still use the stock email app for this function as well. Would love if this app could incorporate this feature. |
[2012-04-17] Stephen: Super dev! A responsive developer makes all the difference. Setup is super easy, UI is very friendly. Explore the trial and visit the user forum. |
[2012-04-14] Nick: A hopefully start This has a much better UI than the standard mail app. It is fast and easy to install. However, it does have some annoying bugs. I am not giving up on it because even with it's issues, it beats android standard mail. |
[2012-04-14] Michael: Since updates all I get is a blank screen. |
[2012-04-12] bradkieser: Seriously good mail client I have a Samsung Note. The phone is fantastic but the email client is terrible. I changed to droidmail after reading the reviews. Had used k9 before but it's ui isn't good and bad use of my phabket screen. Have used free version of this software and it's by far the best email client that I have tried. So now upgrading to pro. The native samsung mail client is broken with keyboards with auto-complete. The whole word is inserted into the partial word rather than replacing it. Fixed in droidmail. |
[2012-04-12] sal: Fix! Cant get hotmail exchange server working thats not good for me anyone have proper settings to get hotmail to work with exchange server for maildroid? |
[2012-04-09] joho: Sweet! Nice, clean, simple, and fairly fast. Worth the money! |
[2012-04-07] Rick: BEST I don't write reviews but I had to at least give this Guy 5 stars...yes, its a little expensive for a mail app but is the best on the market! Everything works great. Keep up the good work. |
[2012-04-07] Mark: New version send email missing Could you add active sync!!! Nice program overall. Doesn't play well if you set it as system file please fix |
[2012-04-07] Steven: Love this App Best email app around for Android. |
[2012-04-06] Guillaume: Nothing better The best app to follow your mail activity... |
[2012-04-06] Anonymous: Stellar Client Email Mail App From its earliest beginnings, I had hope that this application would evolve into an client email application that would be a force to be reckoned with. That has finally happened over the past few updates. This most recent however, takes the cake. Now, I'm able to get all emails and not have to resort to checking my computer all the time. The Rich Text Features and other robust features makes this email application an awesome mobile alternative to the desktop/ laptop versions. Good job Flipdog Team!!!! Your efforts have literally paid off. Continue to grow into an even greater application. |
[2012-04-06] John: Pro crashes Long time user but this update is the worst. I'm using the pro version and it constantly crashes. Sent an email for support but they say its my phone. Hoe can that be when the older version works perfectly. Need to fix the update for paying customers. Not happy. |
[2012-04-05] TextFree: Searching not working in pro version Searching (via hourglass, not by filter btn) worked great in the free version but returns 0 results in pro version.... |
[2012-04-05] jetset: Great 1 of the best if not the best email client for android telephones there is works great everytime just wish they'd change the ugly icon |
[2012-04-05] Mike: Great App I use email A LOT!! This app is the best I found so far. The updates that added the shortcuts to the pages for marking all as read is a HUGE help! Responses from the developer is fantastic. Great app, great support, great upgrades....keep up the great work! |
[2012-04-05] Lewis: Great response from developer Developer responded to email & fixed bug with marking emails as unread not being highligted.Fascinate Verizon Wireless. |
[2012-04-03] C Sprucefield: Bought it, now it refuse to work Connecting to check license, but cannot connect to licence server. Data is working, as I am writing this on the tablet. |
[2012-04-02] ariezein: Push Mail Jatuh cinta pada android, ternyata bisa menggantikan BB sepenuhnya (push email) dengan aplikasi ini |
[2012-03-31] Paulius: Splendid Pro version is just what I need: very clean design, multiple personalities support, perfect IMAP push implementation. Nice job, thanks! |
[2012-03-30] Kim: Piece of crap |
[2012-03-28] alan: 2.3.9's the charm 2.3.9 seems to have finally hit the right mix of functionality and stability. |
[2012-03-26] Sparkss: Love the new look and feel I never had a complaint before, but I didn't know what I was missing until the last update. I really am glad that I bought this apply !!! |
[2012-03-25] Adnaan: Awesome Latest Update really rocks.... |
[2012-03-24] Sean: Expensive, but the best. Love this app! I like that you can setup multiple inboxes, as well as use a light or dark profile. Also...word wrapping in emails works well! Expensive app but it's well rounded and performs. Just wish we had some other themes or skins. Thanks! |
[2012-03-24] Mark: Free works fine, Pro crashes Finally coughed up $17.99 for the Pro version. It crashes. The free copy is still working fine. Free version gets 5 stars. |
[2012-03-23] Phil: Just keeps getting better |
[2012-03-23] Mikey: Great email client Quick, efficient, easy to use. I've tried a few email clients andthis isn't cheap but it's the best out there and I was happy to go ad-free and support a great developer. |
[2012-03-23] BALAJI: VERY BEST I have been trying the MailDroid for the last one month. I am using 8 email accounts and absolutely no problem. Very user friendly menus. Eventhough this is expensive for me, I purchased today the MailDroid Pro to express my gratitude to the FLIPDOG TEAM. Provision to reply from my preferred mail account, to the mails received in any of my accounts is exceptional !!! Keep going...... Please consider options to back up the mails in all accounts same way like backing up all the accounts. I lost all mails when I updated to MailDroid Pro. Thank you very much. |
[2012-03-23] g: no more looking around FINALLY a mail app that will let me get into my microsoft exchange server at work my hotmail accounts and my google accounts all the same time very easy use with email subfolders accessible ( except of course hotmail) |
[2012-03-23] David: wonderful app This app is truly outstanding and an essential replacement for the built in email app. A suggestion for an important update feature would be to improve the filters to allow filtering using part of an address or part of a subject. Currently, filters (which by the way are not available in most other email apps) require typing in the full address or full title, so filtering out an email domain or emails with certain words in the subject is not possible. |
[2012-03-22] G.: There's NO Doubt Absolutely, The Best! E4GT |
[2012-03-21] Jonathan: Great application! Very nice and simple app. Love the fact that I can change account colors and of course the colors when writing an email. One flaw is that I don't know when it is refreshing emails. Please fix! |
[2012-03-21] Helmut: great work waiting for the re-drawn icons from standard version, thanks |
[2012-03-21] Chris: Loving this app This is just what I've been looking for. All the other Exchange apps I've tried (paid or free) came close to the look and feel I was looking for. This one is a homerun. |
[2012-03-17] Vahn: Can it forward and reply Email? Some menu not shown. Please fix. |
[2012-03-16] Linx: Battery Concern I love Mail Droid, but according to Watchdog it's the cause of my battery drain. |
[2012-03-14] Vladimir: Waiting for the next update. Current interface is not good. The bottoms should be in the lower area of the screen. I can t reach upper bottoms |
[2012-03-14] khairulnizam: ok but. . . everything is superb unless the widget. we cant update email through widget & why dont you show the inbox email by listing in the wedget? |
[2012-03-10] Roland: Nice just keeps getting better |
[2012-03-08] Kimberly: Effective Maildroid is doing what I need it to. I have noticed emails are taking a long time to reach me lately. This is especially true with emails containing attachments. Not sure if this is an app issue or my tablet. |
[2012-03-07] mtrvrpoet: Shows Blank Screen! Worked great until last update then got slower and slower. Now all I get is a blank screen and a force close! Looks like I *lost* all my folders! Thanks a lot! |
[2012-03-06] MrGigabyte: Great App At first the price made me stay away, and i try other apps -pay and free- i even pay for a app that was cheaper that i though was good and it had problems missing emails. So then i figure i would try the free version of maildroid again and i use it for a couple of days and it did not miss any of my emails and it uses the battery very good . when i was using the gmail app the battery would go up a little and then go back down to 2 and that is what maildroid is doing also same as gmail so i am very happy about that i did not have any problems with gmail app i just wanted to find a app that had more stuff to do with app.So after a few days of using free i pay for the pro version , and i am very happy that i did , i have done my homework and in the forums maildroid is anyways trying to help out and to me thats very important, also i was reading in forums a few people were asking why free is updated first before pro and maildroid said if free has no bugs then he'll release the pro he feels if you pay for something it should be bugfree , and that really sold me also because to me thats saying he really cares about his app and us also ,So to sum it up thank you for a great app MAILDROID |
[2012-03-05] Paul: Old GUI was much better The new GUI is an example of what not to do. Too bad, the software is really great. I will still use it and hope the GUI improves. |
[2012-03-04] Stephane: No more working on gakaxy tab Blank screen on tab with android. Was working fine before... |
[2012-03-02] Ken: Slow to open email. Miss the free mail app I was using.. Requested refund let's see if they respond. Only used for a week. |
[2012-03-01] Brian: Much improved Keep up the good work. |
[2012-02-29] caleb: Update blows So now searching is dead? That's the only way to use this quickly to reference older emails. Total fail. If an update does this, how about don't release it? |
[2012-02-28] Glenn: Fix Update Last update fixed attachment download force close! Thanks for the prompt attention and quick fix Dev! |
[2012-02-28] scrannel: Tried them all. This is the one. No longer links with contacts. |
[2012-02-28] Mick: Even better with 2.39 Ditched all the other apps I tried, Mail Droid is so feature rich yet intuitive. Fast response from dev and takes suggestions on board. Well worth it. |
[2012-02-27] louis: Nothing better By far the most complete email app on the market. The developer is very responsive and cares about the product. You won't be disappointed. |
[2012-02-27] Shawn: Shawn I'm completely satisfy with how quick this developer rolls out a fix if something is broken. I'm a long time user of this app and pleased with the IMAP handling. |
[2012-02-27] Serkan: the best |
[2012-02-27] Oron: New update very slow Since last update it takes forever for the emails to open |
[2012-02-27] Abraham: G Nice improvement. |
[2012-02-27] vicki: Really like it.. I was skeptical to buy pro.. but I am so glad i did. The last couple of updates rock! No complaints.. but 4 stars only because I need reminders for some emails. Great job!! |
[2012-02-27] Carlos: Best exchange client Best update so far. Dev is speedy with response and fixes. |
[2012-02-27] Joe: Joe C Good app... thanks for the last update the fix worked great now I can download to SD card...and preload working... |

[2012-02-27] Nathan: Has been fantastic. What happened? Latest install has corrupted my install of mail droid pro. Keeps force closing. |
[2012-02-27] steve: Great app except Great app except it ties up my email account so I can't receive emails on my home laptop, unless I force close mail Droid on my phone. After I force close I'm able to receive emails on my laptop, other than that it's a great app. |
