[2012-12-22] A Google User: This is for Japanizing the app's UI. What is this plug-in for? The answer was given in a comment by the user of HTC Droid Incredible. It was not clear to me for a while. It's not for text entry in Japanese; I used OpenWnn/Flick and Google Japanese Input for that. If you prefer to have the user interface in Japanese (so, 設定 instead of 'Settings'), you pick 'Settings' (of Handcent, not of the system) > 'Application settings' > 'Japanese'. That's all - not much of a use for me. The app crashes when I try to put it back to English. 3 stars because of that. I'm hoping that, when I uninstall the plug-in, Handcent will be OK. ... Back to normal now. |
