If you don’t feel like calling your voicemail when you missed a call (or you have your voicemail switched off all together), VoicemailChimp will send a (sms) textmessage to your caller informing him that he will be called back or ignored or any text that you choose.

BLACK & WHITE lIST
VoicemailChimp is highly configurable. It provides you with a white list containing only the numbergroups receiving your textmessage. The blacklist contains those callers who already has received an textmessage in the past periode.

FREEWARE, PRIVATE & BUSINESS VERSION

   1. FREEWARE [student]. You use your phone mainly for written contact with your friends, using SMS, eMail, Whatsapp. You have your voicemail active because your TelCo has activated it. You do not use it. In most calls your friend and family after 15 sec. jump into the voicemail system and have the pay the TelCo rate. The generated SMS of the free version will be enlarged with a small advertisement.
      ’Hi. I’m not on call. Maybe I will call you back, maybe not. Send me an SMS!’
      
   2. PRIVATE [30+, private subscription]. You use your mobile mainly to be reachable for family and friends. You have a voicemailmessage to inform the caller NOT leave a message, since you will not listen it out.
      Switching off your Voicemail and activating Voicemailchimp will save your family and friends on their TelCo-costs and you still maintain a proper and polite communication.
      ‘Sorry, I’m not available right now. Please call me back. You may also send me an SMS or email on me@email.me’
    
   3. BUSINESS [Business subscription]. You will not switch off his voicemail, since your customers need to drop their message. However, this does not count when you are on a holiday. Your customers also want you fit and relax  back on your work. The business version of Voicemailchimp therefore is enlarged with lots of features to track all missed calls and to provide a structured reply when you are back in business again.

Our ultimate goal is a Magicall for Android. Please, dont believe the hype about Extreme Call Blocker, Mr Number or Call Control, those apps are not the only ones that work on Gingerbread - RCB functions on any Android version 2.1 and up, is much faster and 100% silent.

This app DOES NOT provide Caller ID, it is not a dialer and it DOES NOT control your voicemail service.

If calls to numbers you have blocked appear in your messaging app or dialer, you should not be using this app as it is not a messenger or dialer. Its a call blocker.

If you find data disconnects, restart your phone. If it keeps happening, use a proper radio for your ROM or a more reliable ROM.

OUTGOING CALL permissions are needed for Hidden mode, refer to the Help for more information on why, possibly free hat racks for your tin hats.

INTERNET ACCESS mandatory to hook into the communications system. Log data is only sent with your permission via the "Write to us" menu item in Settings. If you block it using a permissions security app, RCB will NOT work.

INTERNET ACCESS is also used to track downloads and for very coarse (country level) location. If this worries you, you should probably be taking pills for the issue.
