[2011-11-26] Aw Yong: NOOB SOFTWARE!!!! auto delete ALL my downloaded files!!!!!wasted my time!!!! |
[2011-11-26] smashman: Awesome on Honeycomb Tablets The new tablet UI is great, some glitches as expected with a beta but daily drivable. Can't wait for v10 & flash support |
[2011-11-26] calenpope: EXCELLENT looks, rough performance I really like the clean lines and modern look of the update. I also am a fan of the honeycomb style options button on the upper right with easy access to preferences. Gripes: 1. Update: scrolling is still far behind competition in smoothness. 2. I wish Bookmarks were only one button press or gesture away at all times (and icons not grainy like now) instead of press address bar, then press bookmarks. 3. I'd like an option to either have the tabs hidden in the tabs button or have constant visibility of them like other browsers. 4. Funnily, i tried to submitt feedback via the built in button and the website told me i needed the latest version of firefox to do it :) Thanks for such a slick looking effort and ccontinuing to support android! |
[2011-11-26] Michael: Unistall... Won't open just hangs. After update on galaxy s.. Unistall.. Don't both guys till they fixed the bugs... |
[2011-11-26] Mike: What? Won't let me enter more than 1 word into Google. Terrible page layout. |
[2011-11-26] J&J: FF IS going to end up THE best browser. Love syncing bookmarks with desktop. So far, I'd only add an Exit button like Boat has. Works on my HTC Inspire 4G still on this date. |
[2011-11-25] Muhammad Touseef: poor but good I am rating 1 star because still no flash support. |
[2011-11-25] scrapnon: ALMOST Better than Google's default browser, but currently no Flash support and no private mode! |
[2011-11-24] Matt: Firefox browser |
[2011-11-23] Amy: Flash? Still no flash support. Laggy. Bloated. The negatives outweigh the positives by far. |
[2011-11-22] dwight: Good! Ok Firefox is the only browser that has iframe scrolling witch is very important for viewing pages. I use Dolphin for video Firefox everything else. |
[2011-11-21] Anonymous: Meh Needs wor |
[2011-11-21] Tom: Not helpful I know it's a beta it's going to have bugs, but at least give me a way to report them! Right now I get a page telling me I have an old version. Lies! |
[2011-11-21] Josh: the only browser that scrolls within an iframe At present, Firefox seems to be the only browser for Android that allows you to scroll within an iframe. I've tried Dolphin, Opera, Skyfire, xScope, Boat, and Ninesky; none of them allowed scrolling within iframes, so on many websites there is just no way to see the full content. Firefox is worth installing for that feature alone. Yes, it's still a little slow and buggy, but it's going to be awesome. |
[2011-11-20] Mustafaa: Better than before I like using it, could be better but it is OK, they should add an option for user agent, I like desktop view in Opera. |
[2011-11-20] octavio: Works fine on HTC evo .. |
[2011-11-20] Suresh: Firefox Good |
[2011-11-20] titanuk: Good start Works well, you can change user agent by adding phony via add ons. Pages load swiftly although some micro lags, some room for improvement. |
[2011-11-20] Subodh: Jeff p Annoying little things. Cannot pinch zoom on some sites. Cannot search selected text. Restart after making preference changes. Adblock is good, though |
[2011-11-19] bitmizer: Privacy/Security!! Remove Personal Information permission! Concerned about malicious site hacking camera support and controlling phone. Used FF since 0.8 Desktop. |
[2011-11-19] HTC: Still too fat but startup time is much better now. Why is text not reformatted to fit zoom/screen? |
[2011-11-19] Omar: Crapp! Slowww as hell |
[2011-11-18] Ellis: Better Changelog. IN-MARKET CHANGELOG. PLEASE. (current changelog has been the same for 5+ updates now) and... ADD FLASH. |
[2011-11-18] Isham: Speedy! Love the new speed Love the New update. |
[2011-11-18] first: Get your expectations straight flash will never run this does have heavy requirements 512 meg ram for example this has free addons such as adblock+ & a user agent changer last but not least full sync with desktop firefox for dualcore 1gig ram tablets nothing comes close |
[2011-11-18] James: James 3 months ago, Mobile Firefox was a resource hog and too slow for normal use. Every version gets faster. Especially the beta versons. It's usable now. |
[2011-11-18] Terry: Best browser Now that it is updated it loads very fast and can load webpages very quickly |
[2011-11-18] JustinHoMi: Still buggy Today's update fixed some things, but i'm still getting partially rendered pages. |
[2011-11-18] A: Boots up fast. Finally a usable version. Thanks! |
[2011-11-17] Will: Not happening. Access sensitive log data and take pictures? Not a chance in hell! |
[2011-11-17] Ivan: Fantastic performance This is a huge improvement, love the speed! This will be my default browser when released. |
[2011-11-17] Jakob: Getting better. Still a lot of small problems. Decent performance, sync makes it the best browser for android right now, can't wait for the android native version. |
[2011-11-17] Chris: Add full web ability I have been waiting for Mozilla to give me an alternative to the garbage native browser for Honeycomb. This is a great alternative. However, this is a gripe I have for all Android tablet browsers, this beta included: give me the option to make my browser pull up websites in their full version. I don't care about the mobile-optimized versions and it's annoying to have to select "view full site" every time. Make this happen and you will have 5 stars from me. |
[2011-11-17] meter1060: Startup time! Wow one irk that had me was trying the Firefox with twitter and having it close everytime then having to go through the start up. Now NO start up time |
[2011-11-16] Samat: Awesome Sync and addons, like Autopage and AdBlock Plus, are killer features. Of course could still be faster... |
[2011-11-16] Chase: What?! Slow and buggy as hell. Sorry Firefox, but you lost it on the mobile browser market. |
[2011-11-16] Jim: Great Love the sidebar interface that only appears when you slide left and right. |
[2011-11-16] busterkev: Ughg 15 mb update seems like at least 2 times a week. I appreciate the improvements but come on. |
[2011-11-15] mlowe0818: Love it! Fast! |
[2011-11-15] B: File size is huge. App Load time too long |
[2011-11-15] Ryan: Not bad Was never a fan of the looks or the speed until the recent update. While Im not a fan of the phone log permission, the app finally feels reasonably quick and the aesthetics are up to par. Nice work, but get rid of the log thing. |
[2011-11-14] John: Permission caution! Not keen on new permissions : uninstall! |
[2011-11-14] jose: No download helper best app ever. When able to do so 5 stars |
[2011-11-14] Roy: Fix permissions issue Will not be installing until this corrected or at least explained. |
[2011-11-13] Stevanus: C'mon mozilla Native browser is far better than firefox. Why mozilla cannot make a powerfull browser like a pc desktop version? |
[2011-11-13] Danny: Absolute crap for mobile Slow, laggy, not very responsive. Rebooted system. Who cares abt html5 when you can't get basics right? ** UI and startup much better, tho. Xperia arc. |
[2011-11-13] Iqbal: My FireFox Good |
[2011-11-13] Allan: Not worth it It's slow and you can't clear browser history. Doesn't support Flash. |
[2011-11-13] larryames: No flash support A killer for me, otberwise looks pretty good. |
[2011-11-13] mordak: Awesome I love Firefox! |
[2011-11-13] Paul: Don't like the permissions I was happy to beta test but I am not giving the app permission to read my phone's logs. I find that an invasion of privacy. |
[2011-11-12] brad: Log data and camera access? Why? Log data and camera access with no controls or explanation? WTF... |
[2011-11-12] Attinder: Language Will it be able to support punjabi language on Facebook ??? |
[2011-11-12] Alex: Can not re-fit the page after pinch in/out. |
[2011-11-12] Stephen: Derp Thank God, there is flash support!..................................................................... no, not really |
[2011-11-12] Sergey: Responsive browser, faster start! More responsive than the regular Firefox Mobile. The new beta does also start much faster. |
[2011-11-12] Yannick: Permissions! Again, firefox demands excessive permissions. No, you can't read my logs. One star, not updating. Why make software that your users don't want? |
[2011-11-12] the 11/12/2011 Gets better with each release Fixes the jerky scrolling that was present in the prior releases. Tablet UI looks nice. Renders complex pages super fast. Tab key still not working on my Transformer and no Flash (Yeah, I know). Each release gets better. I'm considering using this as my primary browser now. The keyboard response seems slower. The Asus keyboard intermittently jumps back a character. |
[2011-11-12] Juan Carlos: Suck It's really crap! Uninstalling, very slow.. Come on Mozilla, wake up :p |
[2011-11-11] Dudewins: Amazing browser! I have been testing this and dolphin on 2 phones. I like this. This BETA is my main |
[2011-11-11] Parimal: PERMISSIONS in the latest updates Why you need to read sensitive log files? |
[2011-11-11] the 11/11/2011 Muschi browser, is der kacke eigentlich |
[2011-11-11] Ron: Huge improvement Memory footprint appears to be much smaller as well ... Too bad no flash. While it's going away, it'll be awhile. |
[2011-11-11] ladle: Yes. Now we're getting somewhere. Thanks for losing the checkerboard rendering. Favicon rendering could use some help. Nice work and improvements. |
[2011-11-11] Dansig: Why???? Why read sensitive log data????? |
[2011-11-11] Thanos: Better Much faster. Please curry on...desire |
[2011-11-11] Peter Sommerfeld: Ooh I might finally be able to move from Dolphin! Pretty awesome for my half-hour playing with it. Fast, feature-rich. |
[2011-11-09] Wood: Voice Search? Where is the voice search? When the keyboard comes up, the microphone is not there. This is a must for me, and will be for more people as SIRI gets talked about more. |
[2011-11-09] shgysk8zer0: A note on Flash... While Mozilla has been disappointing about adding support from Flash, it will soon not be such an issue. Adobe is stopping Flash for mobile. |
[2011-11-09] Suby: Suby HTC Desire Sync your Droid with your desktop and have fun. Will rate 5 when they ll launch add on for StumbleUpon |
[2011-11-07] ....: Yuksel Baspinar Where is the flash player? |
[2011-11-05] Industrialistic: No flash player?! Seriously how could this even be a beta? Should be a pre alpha! |
[2011-11-04] nabil2199: A bit slow Strange Look and feel of the UI |
[2011-11-04] Nathan: Description. Any reason the description on the market has changed to what looks like Russian? Great app though, never touched the stock browser since downloading! |
[2011-11-04] viralex: Top Top |
[2011-11-04] KevinJ: Slow, many sites not working properly |
[2011-11-04] Stefano: Nice browser despite the missing flash Nice browser guys, keep it evolving. Cool the interaction with browsers in your other machines |
[2011-11-04] Daniel: Needs: Flash (it's mandatory) half the reason people won't use this.. (no flash) **Need to make zooming and unzooming easier. Also fix pages that are not displayed correctly. Concentrate on adding features that are helpful.. Otherwise this browser is better than Dolphin or Opera and I will continue to use it. Regular (non-beta) version is far more stable than this. |
[2011-11-03] none: Bloatware, no flash, slow... Too big, too slow, no flash. way better browsers out there. |
[2011-11-03] Simeon: Great rendering; syncs data with my laptop seamlessly. Main problems are Flash Player incompatibility and sluggishness in starting up. |
[2011-11-03] Bj: Descent very very descent Needs a littlw tweeks but very awsome its the best free net app on android |
[2011-11-02] Jacob: Slow and odd input issues. Logging into websites is impossible If I backspace and then start typing again some text I'd previously entered randomly reappears. sometimes single characters appear multiple times. |
[2011-11-01] I Rouli: Still no FLASH. Still NO Flash. Mozilla should get OFF their high horse while the gettin's good. |
[2011-11-01] zTK555z: Fix I love firefox on pc but on android more fix - faster , more setting , add-on , pitchtozoom |
[2011-11-01] Micah: um... sure... Still no flash... huge loading time... the only thing going for this is its ability to download anything... |
[2011-11-01] Dan: Full of flaws - parsing error, etc. Aaaash, is there any big deal adding flash? Users like us would want to know!!! |
[2011-10-31] the 10/31/2011
[2011-10-31] chamalulu: Not really beta yet. So slow and my launcher has to reload every time I've used this. LG O2X |
[2011-10-30] Siansiansian: cann't display google finance page properly. |
[2011-10-29] branflakes: Simply not good enough Come on mozilla this is still far too slow video is unwatchable |
[2011-10-29] bryan: update the change-log! in-market changelog please. thank you! |
[2011-10-29] Wil: A pale shadow of the desktop app. Jerky response, frequent tab crashes and need to restart it frequently. Only saving grace is synching with desktop. Hardly Mozilla's best effort. |
[2011-10-29] noname: I love it I can read the sites in Arabic |
