EasyTether shares Internet connection from your smartphone with your computer or tablet.

It supports USB tethering for Windows, Mac OS X or Linux computers and Android 4.x tablets.

It supports Bluetooth tethering for Android 4.x tablets only.

It does not require root access or special tethering plans.

It supports PS3, Xbox and Wii tethering by means of Internet connection sharing feature on Windows or Mac.

One-time fee only.

Some carriers have hidden the original EasyTether app. They cannot do this because of the latest FCC tether rules.
Note that all paid EasyTether versions function the same way. There is no difference. You can buy whatever is visible with your carrier.

Remove other EasyTether versions before installation.

Very bad app. I read the rules and installed the program accordingly. It is a waste of money. The 15 minute refund is unfair because it takes more than 15 minutes to install. I was unable to make the after purchase refund because google. play required me to use a computer with Internet to do a refund. Insult to injury if you may. It is not worth it.

Works but... Originally I had no problems, but now when I run the app t mobile is keeping an account of how much data I am using as a mobile hotspot. I have a 500 mb hotspot plan and used close to that before getting a notification. I had to stop using the app to avoid paying for a plan upgrade.

Flawless Performance My laptop dual boots Ubuntu Linux and Windows 7, and I have no home internet service, so I think I can safely say that I have thoroughly stress tested this program. My wife and I have identical phones, and after 6+ months of heavy use, Easy Tether seems to work far better than PdaNet does. The install is extremely simple and is virtually identical for both Windows and Linux. Just read and do what the on screen instructions say and you should be fine.

Excellent Application Worth every one time penny they ask for it! Does not seem to support Windows 8. I downloaded the most recent drivers when I did my test of the application. It said I had no smart phone attached. Same procedure on Windows 7 works every time.

Kill 4G Connection GS3 Sprint. For the last day or so, whenever I connect via USB, the 4G connection goes away. It's not connected to anything. Not wireless, not 3G. The bars are there, but there is no internet service.

A shame I tried so hard to make it work. As a result, I appear to have lost my opportunity to get my money back. I use a Samsung galaxy reverb,and so I needed to install the special drivers. Would have been nice if they would run. "This app can't run on your pc" it's all it would say. Works great. See notes. I tried pay-per-day ATT WiFi with my W7-32 notebook and it was terribly slow so I tried Easy Tether and it works great and faster than expected. On my "HTC EVO V 4G", 5 bars, 3G connection, I get about 1 megabit per second of IP. Works with HTTP, HTTPS and FTP. CRITICAL NOTES - to avoid a confusing mess disable WiFi on both the notebook and the phone. If Easy Tether does not work, make sure that USB is selected in the app, disconnect the USB connection, wait a few seconds then USB connect.

Tmobile users dont bother. App is great if u dont have tmobile. The work-around described doesn't work. Changing the UA string did nothing for me. But the chrome ua spoofer add on works great. So for use on pc or laptop this app is amazing. However this app cant be used for playing online with gaming consoles. Nat is too strict and you cant do any downloads. The console can connect to the internet but thats it. No playing witg friends or downloading any content. That means if a download is required-u cant play.

Linda Winans Hey, in order to connect the internet, to the x box you need a Ethernet wire. You then, connect it from the laptop, to the X-Box. Hopefully that works for you. If not, keep it connected and download the app as explained above

It is TMOBILE! Listen up. If you use this app and then do the forced but avoidable update from TMOBILE they will block you from tethering! DO NOT UP DATE! This app works great. It is slow and buggy on the LG motion though. Not sure if it is the phone or the service or the app but that phone doesn't play well with others. TMOBILE isnt LOSING money. they are losing OUT of money opportunity. It doesn't cost them a single penny for you to browse on your phone or laptop through the phone. I have paid upwards of $70 MORE than the normal phone bill for a few years for extra/unlimited high-speed data. they want another $80 if I want to use that data on my laptop. The TMOBILE and cell phone industry are all run by criminals and thieves.

Excellent Best $10 I've spent in a long time. Very good app. I used the free version for a while first, and now I have purchased this app to replace my home internet with my phone's 3G connection. Works fine on my system, and phone. Maybe a little hard on the battery life, sort of neutralizes the charging from usb with it's battery draw, but overall a wonderful application!

Superb. Bandwidth depends on signal strength but regularly good enough to video call and almost as fast as broadband. A credible alternative to wired.
