Inspired by Oprah’s no-texting-while-driving campaign, we created this free app in an effort to do our small part to help fight this world-wide epidemic. It is our humble wish that this app may save precious lives while allowing users to express themselves in a fun new way!
“Can’t text…” enables the user to resist the temptation of texting while busy doing something more important (like driving!) by muting the user’s incoming text alert and automatically responding to the sender with a user-selected, pre-written message [auto-text].
A portion of our annual proceeds are donated to the Alex Brown Foundation. This foundation was formed by Alex’s family following her tragic death in 2009. Alex was 17-years-old. [2012-09-30] A Google User: Keeps phn from ringing It's a good app, but when its not in use...it keeps your phn from ringing or sending any kind of signal for anything. Would love to keep it, but I have a very sick mother and if, my phn doesn't ring. I can't get that, very important call. So, I'm going to have to uninstall. |

[2011-08-07] A Google User: Good Idea... Needs Help Great idea for an app... BUT, I'd rather just turn off the phone than try to remember to LAUNCH an app that I'd forget about until I'm driving... and then I shouldn't be messing with my phone in the first place. Smart phones have accelerometers. So if you are traveling faster than "X" MPH, then autotext. Also, if you do get a call, it doesn't even go to voicemail, just keeps ringing... very frustrating. |
