Is your dialer a bit too fast for you and call before you intended to?

Well then, use Call Confirm Slider! No more accidental calls!
This is a simple, easy to use call confirmation app that requires you to slide your finger over the screen in order to place your call. Not just press a button.

!!! UNINSTALL INSTRUCTIONS !!!
If automatic screenlock is enabled you can not uninstall the app. Follow these steps if you wish to uninstall.

STEP 1: From the home screen on your device, go to Menu > Settings > Location & Security OR Security, scroll down to Select Device Administrators (select), then uncheck Call Confirm Slider as a Device Administrator, this will take you to a new screen, at the bottom of the screen select Deactivate, and then Ok.
OR you can UNCHECK the option "Enable screen to lock when canceltimer times out" in Call Confirm Slider settings.

STEP 2: Once you have completed the above step, you will be able to uninstall Call Confirm Slider the same way you would normally uninstall any other app -home > menu > settings > applications > manage applications > Call Confirm Slider > uninstall.
OR open market and try to uninstall from there.

Automatic screenlock feature can only be enabled on Android versions 2.2 and above.

Quality App but takes a long time to popup. It works very well and the interface is decent but except for the very first time I ran it, it takes almost 3 seconds to popup after I make a call.

Uninstall is MY choice! Ive tried multiple times to Uninstall & app will not let you. When I emailed the co. They said I wasnt being nice! Why their feelings are an issue I dont know; still haven't found the "can't hurt our feelings" section in their permissions & disclaimers!

Brilliant! This was a great idea. Sometimes I accidentally touch the screen and place a call, and then I hit "end" more than once, so it ends the call and then starts it up again. This was frustrating the hell out of me. This is the perfect solution. I like the sliding action too, rather than pressing yet another button.

Love It! This app is just what I needed! The normal dial never had a way to stop a call once you made it, kind of embarrassing when you hit it by accident, or playing around in your contacts list. This program is perfect, not just a button, that could also get hit by accident, but instead a deliberate slide, ensuring that you really do want to make a call to this person!! Also has a timeout, so if you don't slide it you can set it to timeout in like 15 seconds, or whatever time you choose, and will automatically cancel the call. Thank you so much for this app!

Samsung Galaxy Note So far this is the only call confirmation app that works with my Samsung Galaxy Note. All of the similar apps that I've tried seem to have the same problem which is they keep recycling or asking me to confirm that the number I'm dialing is the correct number that I want and when I indicate yes it starts asking all over again.

Great App! Before this app, I was averaging 2 accidental calls per day. Since this app (about 6 months ago) I have never accidentally called anyone! I did notice that the slider sometimes takes about 2 seconds to appear. The screen would then automatically go off. After a while, I learned that even if the slider does not show, sliding would still let you call someone :) I was so happy with this app that I decided to write my first review on it :)

Great App To Prevent Accidental Dialing Must-have app. Works great with the Samsung Epic 4G Touch. Allows you to automatically disable slider if connected to Bluetooth, works as expected with Honda's HandsFreeLink. I don't know why this functionality isn't built into Android, it is far too easy to make accidental calls. Two complaints: 1. There is a little bit of lag when dialing. It would be better if there wasn't any lag. 2. The nag screen is very annoying. I'd pay a dollar or two to get rid of this.
