BotSync periodically synchronizes files with a remote SSH SFTP server, over the wifi or cell network. As new files/directories are created, BotSync will recursively download them to the phone, or upload them to the server (like rsync). Use it to transfer new content securely, wirelessly, and automatically.

Why pay for Dropbox when you can run your own private cloud? BotSync works with opensshd - no inefficient, expensive, or potentially-insecure server SW required.

BotSync transfers about 4X faster than AndFTP SFTP.

It doesn't work on Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.0.4 The application is simple, reliable and fast. It worked fine in my Nexus S running Android 4.0.1. However, it now longer works after I moved to Galaxy Nexus. There's something different on this phone that breaks both rsync and this application. On the other hand, ConnectBot connects fine to my server.

Nice simple sync As mentioned by someone else it would be nice to use ssh keys instead of a password. Have also changed my mind, and I'd prefer something where I can ask my tablet to either push or pull and not be setup to run constantly. Otherwise this is working great over sftp.

Perfect A program you can trust that will synchronize all your files. Has one way synchronization either up or down, but not both. If you need that try foldersync from tacit developers. Cheap and reliable

A good start Currently configuration is limited to a single host, and either upload or download. The roadmap has multiple targets: that will add a star for me, and other planned enhancements are gravy.

Schedule is great. Rsync partial / mirror / sync / multiple configurations would be great. This way we have to backup everything w/ no exclusions

Not working for me on ICS Every sync'd song is exactly 98,304 bytes. Constantly re-syncs because of this but never gets more if the file. Multiple configurations would be great!

Support for file changes? Needs to support file changes, that way when I delete a file on my SD card, it will also delete from my server. It's a simple hash comparison.

Great so far, but needs more features Works great, it's fast, fairly simple to set up, beats paying for dropbox. Still needs to add additional features before I rate it higher. Need to add bidirectional sync, multiple folders, and multiple profiles/servers. Looking forward to any updates.
