APG (v. 1.0.9) Разработано Thialfihar |
OpenPGP for Android. It's open source and its goal is to provide a similar OpenPGP implementation as GnuPG.
Changes:
* more secure random number
* fix multi-select in recipient list
NOTE: Internet permissions are ONLY used for key server queries. I didn't like the idea of APG requesting those permissions either, but it is open source and the code shows that it doesn't use those permissions for anything else.
* manage secret/public keys (eg. GPG/PGP)
* encrypt/sign/decrypt/verify emails and files
* some integration into GMail accounts on the phone
* integration with K9
* HKP Keyserver support
* basic key creation and editing possible (beta)
* Intent API for other apps
Note: Internet permission is now needed because of the key server support.
Please rate it and suggest features you want.

[2013-10-30] A Google User: Lack of key publishing support limits practicality of encrypting mail. |
[2013-10-24] A Google User: Very good Provides excellent PGP encryption/decryption. Exactly what I'd want from a PGP app. The only two issues are that the add Gmail account feature doesn't work (the devs had the ingenious idea not to make the app ask for a password) and a slight issue where performing several operations would cause many nested menus to be made, making the back key somewhat infeasible for exiting the ap. All in all, though, a most excellent app - 4.3/5. Would rate 5 if email support were added/fixed. |
[2013-10-22] A Google User: Buggy Integration with K-9 is defective. A function I would like to have added is uploading a public key to a public key server. |
[2013-10-21] A Google User: Excellent security facility; easy to use; effective! Highly reconnect this app to anyone requiring communication security. |
[2013-10-21] A Google User: Solid & Secure! I love this app. It's solid & works perfectly with K9-Mail. Not to mention this app is finally back in development after a 3yr stalemate. Still the best Android GnuPG/PGP app ever. I do advise setting up your Pub/Sec keys on your PC or Mac if you haven't already done so & importing them into this app. The reason for doing so is because importing your already existing key seamlessly integrates your encrypted emails & let's you easily encrypt, decrypt, verify & authenticate file and emails on your Android. |
[2013-10-19] A Google User: Problem importing secretkey Secretkey import gets error: "could not import or update key" no matter what I do. Using correct path. |
[2013-10-13] A Google User: Excellent app Very quick and easy to setup, took very little time to import my keys. Intergration with K9 mail is straightforward. I'm glad to be able to use PGP from my phone. |
[2013-10-12] A Google User: Excellent But...can now only encrypt pictures from gallery and not documents on the sdcard since the update. * problem resolved, reset app defaults fixed it. |
[2013-10-12] A Google User: great news that there is - after 3 years pause - development again on this app. One feature would make this app absolutely awesome -> support for PGP/MIME. Thanks for the good work ! |
[2013-10-11] A Google User: Still the best for android! Finally gave up the OG droid. Everything worked great, but the key server was acting up. quantum leap forward, the galaxy s4 is running all features with no problems. --feature request: please tie failed phone passwords to my gpg. e.g. forget my gpg key after two failed phone unlock codes (possible hack/crack). Great work so far! |
[2013-10-11] A Google User: Best there is! AGP is in no. 1 spot (of the only email-integrated PGP implementation available). But I use it all the time with K9. 1st update in several years? Thank goodness for such a robust initial deployment! If you (dev) plan to hang around, I'd gladly pay via in-App purchase or donate for further dev & support! |
[2013-10-10] A Google User: Great security tool and now is back in active development Easily imported my existing keys. K9 mail integration works beautifully and it works on Ice Cream Sandwich. I'm very happy to see this app is back to being actively developed. |
[2013-10-10] A Google User: Great tool. Recent update solved some crashes on cm10.1.3. All good |
[2013-10-10] A Google User: God's gift is still alive What a relief apg is still maintained! It is invaluable and still unique among the mass of android apps over the past years. Integrates with Kaiten |
[2013-10-07] A Google User: Works as advertized fetching by name from keyserver works, importing public keys from existing keyring works, importing private key works, execellent k9 integration |
[2013-10-02] A Google User: easy to set up and works |
[2013-10-02] A Google User: It works great! Thanks. GUI could be improved a bit to make is more user-friendly; e.g., manage key is hidden inside menu, buttons are too big to have more functions at the user finger tips, etc. Another issue is integration with K9 Mail (but I don't know whether K9 or AGP) that PGP/MIME support is very poor; e.g., email encrypted with PGP on Mac our Outlook is displayed in K9 as attachments! |
[2013-09-17] A Google User: Wonderful tool A must have tool for anyone who wants real security on their phone. |
[2013-09-11] A Google User: Best PGP manager for Android I use PGP on a regular basis and this integrates well with k9mail. The key generation is not very good though. |
[2013-09-10] A Google User: Love it Thank you so much! |
[2013-09-09] A Google User: Limited functionality. Doesn't work as advertised Importing a key doesn't work, and neither does Add Google Account. It will generate a key pair though. Very little use, so no need to try to handle every single file. Good integration with K9 |
[2013-09-05] A Google User: A bit out dated with some point choices In 2013, the Android 2.x UI style is getting a bit old. Also it seems to register itself as a file type handler for everything, which was annoying enough that I had to remove it. |
[2013-09-04] A Google User: Gmail Very good but not sure about Gmail bit. |
[2013-08-28] A Google User: Good job!! |
[2013-08-24] A Google User: A must have In the milieu of privacy breaching, this small gem is indispensable. |
[2013-08-23] A Google User: I don't like it. Because it's interface has stopped on Android 2.3, it looks like no longer updated. Also claims to know to open every file type, which is certainly bug. |
[2013-08-04] A Google User: very simple to use This application makes it easy to communicate securely, I like how simple it is to import my keys from my desktop computer, it woks very well and it is also very customizable to my needs. |
[2013-08-04] A Google User: Works & Free Encrypts and decrypts email from K9 - thats what I wanted. Thanks |
[2013-07-20] A Google User: Simple and Effective Adds exactly the functionality I need. Could not have asked for anything more. Great work! |
[2013-07-08] A Google User: Great program Really needs some fiddling though, the associations with EVERYTHING makes it try to open things very often, this results is a crash and a slowdown, really needs to be adjusted. |
[2013-07-05] A Google User: Bad and Broken Bad keyring, file type implementation. Cannot even load in my private key. Do not use, seems abandoned |
[2013-07-01] A Google User: Great for K-9 Mail / BUG: registers for ALL MIME Works great with K-9 Mail Client but has a great "bug" or weird/unwanted "feature": as someone else mentioned it, APG registers itself to handle all MIME types on the phone so whenever I want to open pdf, excel, word file or movie it launches APG and APG crashes... So: 5 stars for integration with K-9 Mail Client but -4 stars for taking control over all MIME types. So result is only 1 star. PLEASE FIX THAT MIME BUG. Samsung Galaxy GT-I9300 |
[2013-06-29] A Google User: Can no import private key I wish to be abe to import my private key, certificate so i can use this marvelous app without without creating another keypair. |
[2013-06-22] A Google User: Functional but could be better Running on Android 4.1.2 - interface is rather clunky and it's not very intuitive. Nice project though. |
[2013-06-18] A Google User: Needs updates. Needs updates. Can't get it to import keys or work with external email app |
[2013-06-17] A Google User: Crashes When selecting decrypt message |
[2013-06-15] A Google User: Awesome! This app is great and is awesome w/ k9 mail. Only 1 bug: when I decrypt a message it bombs out, forcing me to reload, and then decrypt again (no p/w 2nd time required.) All in all a great app! |
[2013-06-11] A Google User: Works great This along with k9 mail keep the pesky snoops from looking in on your otherwise completely open email. |
[2013-06-06] A Google User: Crashes on text decrypt Have loved this app for a long time, but on my new Galaxy S4, I can encrypt text, but it crashes every time I press the "Decrypt Message" button, making it useless. |
[2013-05-27] A Google User: A+ Works flawlessly on SGS2. Import key, encrypt, and create your own keys. BOSH. Simple. |
[2013-05-22] A Google User: Easy reliable Easy to understand pgp encryption, first app to be on my android |
[2013-05-19] A Google User: Old Not updated since 2010, many planned features still missing. |
[2013-05-08] A Google User: Great tool It rocks especially in compination with k-9 Mail app |
[2013-05-04] A Google User: Awesome For a free app that hasn't been updated in years, it works very well. |
[2013-04-23] A Google User: Nice concept, but... Now all of my files try to open in APG instead of the appropriate handlers. No, I do not want to open my zip file with you, thank you very much. |
[2013-04-13] A Google User: The best of the best It is a long-awaited app for a PGP user, like me. The worries I concerned about for the information security of my mobile device can be now resolved. I think that the programmer is simply a "Justice" defender. You are the best of the best! |
[2013-04-08] A Google User: Works great Besides being handy for privacy, its spiffy for passing files through cloud services that aren't necessarily perfect at leaving files untouched in transit. |
[2013-03-24] A Google User: not working "No permission to read the account" when trying to add Gmail-account. |
[2013-03-08] A Google User: Nice work! Great app to have. Love the drive to enlarge the popularity of OpenPGP. Can use some 'tweaks'. Will use; offer my input & suggestions. Nice work! |
[2013-02-22] A Google User: Does exactly what it says Simple. Free. Fast. |
[2013-02-21] A Google User: Smooth Wish I could upload to key servers. K-9 integration is nice. |
[2013-02-17] A Google User: great app It works ok! It integrates well with application like k9-mail! |
[2013-02-02] A Google User: Perfect Thanks for implementing this into android, . Must be used with a good clipboard tho, |
[2013-01-31] A Google User: Sweet Work beautifully. |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: Works wonderfully Combined with K9-mail, I can send and receive fully encrypted e-mail on my phone! |
[2013-01-13] A Google User: Too bad there's no alternative Never got any secret key imported so it's pretty useless unless you change keys like your undies. Asked the author about out but got no reply. Considering the last version is over two years old it seems like someone has to take over development. |
[2012-12-28] A Google User: Fail on Nexus 4 / Android 4.2.1 Private key import fails (Java IO error). Worked great on SGS with 4.0.1 |
[2012-12-26] A Google User: Just what expected |
[2012-12-09] A Google User: Example of simple, great app done right Works on every device, flawlessly so far for me. Reliable, fast, rock solid! Keep up the good work. |
[2012-12-03] A Google User: Soft needs update Can't import my keys (both in binary or ascii format, with either OI file manager or Astro). UI is also bugged. In app keypair creation from scratch works though. |
[2012-11-19] A Google User: Gmail doesn't When I ask it to integrate to Gmail on my Jelly Bean (4.1.1) Galaxy SIII, it says it doesn't have permission. I don't see how to get it the permission. |
[2012-10-31] A Google User: Works seamlessly. Thank you. APG imported my keys and using apg and k9 mail is as simple as using gpgtools and enigmail on my laptop. I'm new to android and appreciate the ease of use. |
[2012-10-29] A Google User: How about Google Drive support? |
[2012-10-19] A Google User: Excellent |
[2012-10-14] A Google User: sym password-based encryption not supported... |
[2012-10-12] A Google User: Great App Works like charm while I don't need any integration to mail apps. |
[2012-10-08] A Google User: No updates for over a year Seems like a good implementation for Android, but I also see that the app hasn't been updated since Dec of 2010, even though more development was listed as scheduled on his website. Kind of disturbing... Is this app abandoned? |
[2012-10-03] A Google User: Works, sometimes. Using it on JB with both a SGN and a Nexus 7 and it crashes often. Seems to have problems accessing AGP keys that were added after install. Have to reinstall and set up accounts again. |
[2012-10-01] A Google User: Cool Awesome application, however I've faced a little glitch -- after moving APG to SD card it stops working until you move it back to the phone memory. |
[2012-09-23] A Google User: Fail. Would be awesome if I could both send and receive. Sending alone BC this program won't import secret keys is a deal breaker. What a disappointment I really wanted this to work. |
[2012-09-18] A Google User: Works great! Wonderful app but could use an update for newer phones with holo framework. The interface relies heavily on the menu button which new phones are getting rid of. |
[2012-09-07] A Google User: Must use text mode in K9 |
[2012-09-07] John: Must use text mode in K9 |
[2012-08-29] A Google User: Could be good.... But it has problems with integration and doing dumb things like dropping n chars from messages so they end up garbled and unusable. |

[2012-08-25] A Google User: Best Best android app ever. Hands down. |
[2012-08-25] Randy: Best Best android app ever. Hands down. |
[2012-08-11] A Google User: Recent problems Works great with email, encrypted files are not created, for some reason that capability is intermittent. |

[2012-08-06] A Google User: Core functionality broken it's buggy all the way + it breaks some application links |

[2012-07-30] A Google User: Decent but minimal software The software is good considering its free but it lacks any support for 4096 bit keys either encrypting or decrypting. Other than that its a decent piece of software even if the user interface is odd. |

[2012-07-27] A Google User: Keyserver support Claims to support keyservers. How come my keys arent uploaded there? I have to do it by hand on my Unix machine. 5 stars if this is fixed. |

[2012-07-19] A Google User: Cannot select key Hi, I recently ran into problem while tried to select key for encryption after my Google nexus updated to 4.1.1. The check mark won't show in check box no matter how many times I tap it. Sounds like a minor bug, can you fix it? Much appreciated. |

[2012-07-14] A Google User: Wouldn't be comfortable without it! When I got my first Android system, one of the first apps I wanted was a PGP utility. This app was the answer, and has been with me since the beginning. |

[2012-06-25] A Google User: A must have application It's ridiculous that in today mobile e-mail life, a signature creation using openpgp standard still not included by default. An update or upgrade will make it perfect. Why stops? Is it involving government? |

[2012-06-18] A Google User: Almost there... APG seems to be the closet option for GPG on Android. I was able to import my keys used in GPG. Using K9 with APG integration. Same issues as others like encrypted.asc attachments won't decrypt automatically, need blank line after PGP header, and so on. Good effort though. It's a shame it's not updated. Seems like the project has stalled. |
[2012-06-18] A Google User: Perfect for K9-Mail... Works fine for me together with K9-Mail on Gingerbread and Icecreamsandwich. |

[2012-06-11] John: Good app, hope development continues Easily imported my existing keys. K9 mail integration works beautifully and it works on Ice Cream Sandwich. Hoping this app is still being developed. |
