Where R U automatically responds with your phones location.
Where R U can be used for multiple purposes:
Track down friends or family when out and about.
Locate your phone if it gets lost or stolen.
Be located should you get into trouble.
In an unfamiliar area and dont know the address? - text yourself and your address will be sent straight back to you.

Simple one touch Activation / Deactivation

Once Activated, anyone can request your location details by simply texting your phone 'Where R U'.  This App automatically replies with a user definable text (optional) along with your current address / Lat-Long position plus a link to map to that address.

The App does not need to be installed on the phone requesting Where R U, only the one being located. Any SMS capable phone can make the request.

Use this App with friends at a music festival to keep tabs on everyones locations, or whilst hiking, enable this App so that you can be located in an emergency.

Make 'Where R U' requests to friends from within the Where R U App and see the instant response and Map-It facility.  No need to exit to read their text/location.

Textor takes your messaging to the next level:
• Automatically include location to the messages (can be disabled)
• Send later - with location updates and repeat
• Cool voice announcement of the sender when receiving SMS

Note: Send later is available with a long press of the Send-button when composing a message.

The application works well also without GPS, and all the messages can be received with any phone, even an old dumbphone!

The secret sauce that powers Textor is landmarks; well known places and natural elements of way finding that everybody can instantly understand. These provide a simple way for sending your location through standard text. This means that Textor works with standard SMS and MMS, and does not require any special software on the receiving phone.

Textor uses our own global landmark database that has been optimized for messaging use. For personal needs, you can also add your own places such as "Home" or "My Beautiful Wife's Office".

Landmark view functionality:
• Tap on a landmark to activate it
• Drag to pan, pinch to zoom (also available from the zoom button)
• Long tap to add own landmark
• Toggle landmark on/off
• Select landmark adjunct (At/Near/Going to)

To make Textor the default messaging application, you should disable notifications from default Messaging. This is done via Messaging > Menu > Settings > Notifications

Android Bridge connects any 2 android devices(1.6 and above) with bluetooth and allows you to send and receive messages. This works great on a tablet that has no SMS ability or if you have a 2 phones and want to send messages on another one.

Text 2 Speech

This is a very simple and basic program that converts text to speech. The user inputs the text and presses a button and the phone speaks the words you input. No frills, no fancy graphics, no unneeded options or coding that bog it down. Just simple, plain, and efficient.

Please don't mark it down for lack of features or lack of graphical fluff because that wasn't the point. The purpose was to keep it small and simple. NOTE: You MUST follow the on screen instructions to activate the text-to-speech functionality on your phone device in order for it to work. Please do not leave comments that it doesn't work if you have not tried to activate this in the settings.
