Living in Thailand with his mom, Soohyun has a chance encounter with a cute, headstrong girl named Jiwoo. They promise to some day visit the Temple of Dawn together, but become separated abruptly when Jiwoo’s mother flees to Korea with her daughter to escape her crime boss husband. Suddenly, Soohyun’s mother, a prosecuting attorney, falls victim in the raging battle with the underworld. Director Kang of the police force adopts Soohyun and raises him alongside his own son Mingi like two brothers. However, Soohyun can never forget his heart’s deep yearning for Jiwoo, nor his burning thirst to avenge his mother’s death.
