Yuu Ashita
Born in Tokyo, Yuu Ashita worked as a Web designer after graduate school. After having a baby, she enrolled at Tokyo Creator Academy where she studied under picture book writer Etsuo Matsumoto. She hopes her books will bring more smiles to the world.
This is her first published work, and there are several more to come.

Etsuwo Matsumoto
Born in Tokyo, Etsuwo Matsumoto graduated from Nihon University College of Art, subsequently becoming a picture book writer and essayist.
Etsuwo’s major works include “Omedetou, 1-sai. 0→1”, “Ban-zai”, “Shara-Shara”, etc.
She founded the picture book school “Tokyo Creator Academy”, and is a producer at Atelier Palettes.
