[2012-08-18] Leo: Almost Perfect Fast loading and quick page transitions, easy to use, easy on the eyes. As close as it gets to the PC version, if not better. If it weren't for the fact that I can't exit the app, it would be perfect. Instead of quitting, it goes back to the previously opened file. |
[2012-08-18] Paresh (not much experimentation has been done): It works perfectly but would be more awesome if pdf to cbz conversion was added |
[2012-08-17] talonz: Awesome Great app but no linux sync so wont be buying the full version |
[2012-08-17] Marcus: Grr I have to clear all data before the comics will appear as readable. They don't auto update as I add them.very infuriating. I Have a galaxy s3 |
[2012-08-17] Rob: Phenomenal This is the best comic reading software out there, on every platform. Lots of customization options and flawless operation. Free live wallpaper (displays random covers from your collection) is a nice touch. Keep in mind that this is not a medium to purchase comics, it reads e-comics in the .cbz and .cbr formats. |
[2012-08-10] Chip: Solide-reader Have had it freeze up once or twice, but as a whole, you cant beat the free reader and its features. |
[2012-08-10] Justin: Love it! |
[2012-08-07] Ronny: Amazing Aside from the slight delay I get transitioning from the first page after starting the app, I have no complaints about the performance of this app. I like the integration of live wallpapers and twitter. If your upgrade cost was less I'd upgrade in a heartbeat. Considering I have no data plan attached to my device I could care less about the ads in the free version. I'd still upgrade if you lower the price. Anything south of $5 is fair IMO. |
[2012-08-05] Jason: Excellent! Hands down the best comics program out there. I use on my laptop as well. |
[2012-08-03] DJ AndieK: Rather unstable I tried opening a comic and it crashed/froze on page 3. Doesn't seem to be a very stable App. |
[2012-08-01] Adz: Ad problem I really love comic rack and it does everything I would ever want it to do. But there is a glitch when an ad appears at the bottom. Now I really don't mind ads, especially considering that it is a free app, but this is causing the app glitch out and render my comic unreadable. I have to exit the comic and go back in every 5 mins because of this :( |
[2012-07-28] Matthew: Great for reading eComics while I'm out A great product. |
[2012-07-26] Phawx: Auto detect frames Is it possible to auto detect frames or possibly include support to.acv? |
[2012-07-25] Kelly: Irritating Most difficult was to read comics ever |
[2012-07-22] soulfly: Sd card I can't acess comics on my exsternal sd card |
[2012-07-22] anjola: itsok but it could use a lot of work |
[2012-07-21] Aaron: Perfect. Intelligent next volume selection, abundant options and smoothness make this the best reader I've ever used. |
[2012-07-21] wintermute2517: Loved it so much I bought the company! Ok I didn't, but I bought the full version and the windows version. The free version works great, they ads are mostly non-intrusive. Combined with the windows version it becomes the be all end all of DRM-free digital comics. |
[2012-07-21] David: Was great now stuffed I Loved this app but scince the last update none of my comics are available. Fix this and you'll get 5 stars |
[2012-07-21] Dipo: Nice Very awesome comic book reader. Does what it does very well |
[2012-07-21] twiz: Cloud sync for premium We all don't have Windows, and it's a bit outdated to rely on a PC for sync. Adding cloud sync would make the rather pricey premium version worth it. Besides that, this is THE best comic reader. Amazing job. |
[2012-07-21] Milly: File associations? Displays comics beautifully, smooth and easy to use. I want to read my comics from my PC over samba though without using the library function - for that, I new CRA to have file associations for my .cbz and .CBR files I can use to open files from es file manager. Then, it will be perfect :) |
[2012-07-19] Jacob: Disappointingly buggy Page transitions are inconsistent. Sometimes pages are skipped, sometimes tapping to the right sends me backwards one or multiple pages. Sometimes it will just reload the same Page. Also can't get library sync to work completely. Hope this gets fixed! |
[2012-07-18] Matt: Nice app I like it. |
[2012-07-18] praveen: bad |
[2012-07-17] Rei: A few bugs, but great Had to figure out some sync issues on my own, but got it working with webcomics too! The reader itself on both Android and windows is superb and the library organization and tagging tools are very powerful! Would like better error handling for broken webcomic links, faster sync time and better support/documentation, but since it's a solos dev and free software, I'm still quite pleased. When I get a tablet, I'll have to buy the full version of this. |
[2012-07-16] jervis: The best Best comic book reader |
[2012-07-15] Bane: Full featured, inevitably the best The best available reader on tablets... i have been using it for a few months and....perfect |
[2012-07-15] New Bound Media: Cool! Plays all my files really smoothly. |
[2012-07-14] Jat: My fave comic reader Im just amazed at how fast and smooth is app is!! Five stars if u can add a box feature where you can put similar comics in the same box.. i love this app no crashes and bugs whatsoever! |
[2012-07-08] Laurentius: Disappointed by obtrusive ads Don't know, is it only on my device, but after you would use it for some time it will annoy you with an offer to buy the full version every minute or so, and it's almost impossible to use it comfortable. This is no option to make free apps. |
[2012-07-07] Bill: Crashes too often. This app has gotten less and less stable with every update. I gave up and switched to Perfect Viewer. |
[2012-07-06] salman: Crazy stuff Works really well. A treat for comic lovers :) |
[2012-07-02] jenova941: Almost perfect... Messes up page numbers on some files. Probably has something to do with a lack of floating zeroes before page numbers. Other than that, fantastic app, way smoother than ACV (which does get page numbers right, however). |
[2012-07-01] Casey: Great for Tablet Great for my generic 9.7 inch Droid v2.1 tablet!! Almost actual comic book size !! |
[2012-06-30] Kevin: Excellent Great app |
[2012-06-30] Himanshu: Good very good i like it |
[2012-06-26] Alex: Great experience with Galaxy Nexus. PC version is really cool so I installed android one without a doubt. And once again it's soooo good to have such a great soft to read my favourite novels. Interface is fast and useful, very pleased with support and updates. Keep on going, guys! |
[2012-06-25] Eric: Great comic app Wish it followed android design guidelines better but it is the best Android comic app hands down. |
[2012-06-24] Miguel: Best comic book reader app I've used. Very neat and looks great. Just wish it wasn't so expensive. |
[2012-06-24] Juan: ComicRack makes reading comics better! It's great on my phone, but it really cooks on my tablet when it has all that extra space to play with. The layout scales up beautifully to larger screens. Looking forward to trying it on a bigger phone! |
[2012-06-19] Ian: Good and bad Good reader but file transfers take forever! I put 200 PDFs on from Windows and it took around 22 hours. I know that's a lot of files but if I could have dragged and dropped without faffing about with the windows reader it would have been done in about 15 mins! Upgrade price is ridiculous. |
[2012-06-17] Eric: Great app, but.. Takes up wayyyy too much RAM using the live wallpaper (50-100mb). HTC Evo 4g 'LTE' |
[2012-06-17] David: Great app but ... Best comic book reader by far. Annoying ads keep popping up every 5 page or so, but i don't have 8 bucks to spend on an app for the moment so can't complain. |
[2012-06-01] Victor: Great app ! Read my comics anywhere now. |
[2012-06-01] Frank: It is a good reader This reads comic book files fine and works great with ICS. The issue I see is while the advanced features are nice, it would be nice to have an option to remove them so you just get the basic functionality. |
[2012-05-29] Anderson: Great Great |
[2012-05-26] Johnny: Fantastic app The best app for reading comics! Combine it with the PC version for even more functionality. Acer A500 tab |
[2012-05-25] Nicholas: Very slow : ( I want to like this SO much BC of how awesome it is on my PC, but for some reason it is dead slow on my ICS tablet, if resolved will prob change rating |
[2012-05-25] Nic: Best comic reader ever This is by far the best comic reader I have ever used. Love that when I finish a comic it lets me rate the comic out of 5stars and gives me the option to tweet the cover image and the review straight to twitter. I have the desktop version for my PC as well and it to is amazing for sorting through books and viewing. This app works great on my Motorola Xoom tablet. |
[2012-05-23] Dustin: Works flawlessly Kindle Fire Everything looks and functions perfectly. Just started reading comics again and this makes it really easy. |
[2012-05-23] Kazzaz: Taps are great The best ,i love the animations great effects on nook tablet . |
[2012-05-21] Fabián: Greatest comic reader I ever used It's so smooth! So uncredibly fast! I couldn't believe it! Thank you guys for such a tremendous effort, I wish I had a credit card to buy the full version, you guys really deserve it. Thank you! The app is perfect! |
[2012-05-21] Kratos101i: Best one yet Found the option to sort by folders, now my new fave comic app, 5 stars! |
[2012-05-17] Alexander: Very Impressed Love the animations and customizable settings. Syncing with the desktop version isn't half bad either. I'm very hard on CBRs and this one won me over. |
[2012-05-17] Adrian: Still very awesome! I've used this app for well over 4 months now, and it's still awesome! Fasy, accurate, easy to use. |
[2012-05-17] Zuhairi: Best! The best in business! |
[2012-05-15] Gabriel: :) Great app!!! |
[2012-05-13] Clayton: The best Easily the best comic reader. Only wish is that there were more options for organizing the self view. Absolutely one of the best apps on the market. |
[2012-05-13] dem: Very organized and Feature full |
[2012-05-11] utkarsh: Great comic reader This is the best one out of the dozens I have tried. |
[2012-05-10] E: The best. |
[2012-05-09] Daniel: Don't pay. $8 for full. Deluded. Do you not want people to buy the full version? Great App, though. Brilliant in fact. |
[2012-05-08] Rob: Awesome Great app but 8 dollars for the upgrade? Really? This app is excellent but that is way too much. The app it self is great and runs very well. I would like to support the devs but not for that price. |
[2012-05-07] Dusty: Droid Bionic The best free comic app in the whole store. Would give 10 stars if it could zoom in on each story pane like the "other" comic book app. Still, freakin' great app! |
[2012-05-07] Eber: The best |
[2012-05-07] FrankYoung: Amazing app I would love to donate and buy full version but... $8? Maybe, but $5 and lower would have been a no brainer |
[2012-05-06] Alex: Amazing Simply and does what i want. :-) |
[2012-05-03] the 5/5/2012 : Great App But needs a Delete Option Great App. Does exactly what I need... |
[2012-05-02] Anonymous: Muy Bacano Una forma distinta de ver comics; igual pódes configurarlo al visor tradicional osea estatico+zoom |
[2012-05-01] Hammy: The Best There is only one comic reader and this is it. Does MORE than it says on the tin. |
[2012-04-30] Adam: Grrreat! Best comic viewer around. Displays all my comics perfectly and is extremely easy to use. |
[2012-04-30] Dan Longman: great until... Loved this program was just about to upgrade to paid-.. then moved my comics to external SD and after leaving app my home screen (launcher) crashes. Driving me crazy. Acer iconiab a200 ics 4.0.3 |
[2012-04-30] Haisook: Border cut-off The app is almost perfect, except for one feature that Perfect Viewer does better. The automatic detection of unnecessary whites and cutting it off to save display space. ComicRack does it well, but it does it too extremely, that there's no option to choose a cut-off space in pixels (like Perfect Viewer). I'd like to a have like a 10px of the whites around the page frame. Also, ComicRack does it with all colors. I prefer it to be done for whites only. At least an option to choose which colors to cut off would be great (like whites only, whites & blacks, or all colors). |
[2012-04-23] Gary : Frustrating Keeps force closing. Sometimes only seconds after starting it up. Also runs slow from time to time which makes the pages blurry and unreadable. No excuse for this. |
[2012-04-19] Frederick: Great find, (too big for mobiles?) I used to rely on CDisplay to read my cbr, cbz's etc. Then my bro mentioned CRack, free app & pc versions. I was gobsmacked by the range of features so (too?) many I needed the pdf manual. |
[2012-04-18] Michellzebub - Joyproject - Ivey: Great app It really is a great app but not worth $8. I would not pay more than $2. If they ever drop their price I'd be happy to support them. |
[2012-04-13] Tyler: Word! Awesome App but I think the new update messed up the file names because there are "/"'s |
[2012-04-13] the 4/15/2012 Excellent |
[2012-04-12] Accidental Rob: Great reader - with some bugs I've been using ComicRack Free for about a month or two now, and other than some annoying glitches, I've been very happy with it. On occasion, I've had the app stop responding and I've had to shut down my device and restart it, or I've managed to force stop that application. I've also had a couple of occasions where it would not read a CBR file, but I do not know if that is because of the app, or a problem with the file. Minor quibbles. One of the best comic readers I've used. |
[2012-04-10] Shannon: UPDATE: Excellent Update fixed my issues now second to none this app is Great |
[2012-04-09] BorgmanJayce: Great on Galaxy Tab 10.1 This is a really great comic book/manga reader for Galaxy Tab 10.1 devices. |
[2012-04-07] Darrell: Great app for displaying comic books This has been the best app for displaying and reading comics on my Acer A100, but I won't purchase the full version until there is some drastic improvements on the wireless sync to your comic book collection. I would love to see my comic book collection displayed as folders as I have them saved on my PC. Then I can select the books I want to have transfered over. 2nd problem is no matter what I did I can't get this program to pair with my device. Otherwise the program is lovely in design and sharp imagas of my books when I am reading. |
[2012-04-06] Cirsten: Awesome Along with it's desktop partner, the two make the ultimate comic reader. This app alone would be enough to make me buy an android pad if I didn't already have one. |
[2012-04-04] Tom B.: sweet |
[2012-04-02] DjKoZ78: Used to be good... That is until I got a new HTC Rezound & no matter what I try to get it to pair with my phone it doesn't recognize it. Went to the forums for help guess what nothing worked. When I pair the box comes up with no device. It recognized my Bionic right away. Rezound isn't compatible. |
[2012-03-31] CampingKev: Perfect I use on tab 10.1 and it does everything smoothly, bug free for me. |
[2012-03-31] Jo: Ads everywhere! |
[2012-03-31] Lorgen Shadouness: Feature-packed, smooth-fast Wow. This is my very first review on the Android Market. i just gotta... It combines the other comic reader Komik's speed and ACV's sharing capability (post screenshot) in my favorite comic book reader/organizer. ComicRack on my desktop and laptop gets a bit slow so I was worried initially about installing this. But golly :'p this is fast. animations are smooth, there's no page-turning lag at all, even though it's got features MUCH more than any other comic book reader. It doesn't crash on problem files, it has text search. .. cYolito is awesome. It remembers what I've read, how far I've read into any book.. . just. .. one awesome package. |
[2012-03-28] mike: Don't update Don't update!!!!! Latest update includes ads OVER YOUR COMICS PAGES every half dozen or so page turns. Try another comic app if until this is gone. Update: the ads are now getting obnoxious. I was gonna just buy this ap, but they raised the price when they #$%^ed up the free version, so I'm switching to Perfect Viewer until I find a better reader. |
[2012-03-28] Jason: Asus Transformer I use this app on my Asus Transformer Tablet and love it the ads are annoying but quick to close i will buy the paid version if only for the Pc sync option alone but it would be nice to see a programmable reading order for comics instead of numerical. |
[2012-03-25] Undead: annoying pop-over ads I was going to switch to the paid version since I found the app to be useful, but after having those constant pop-over ads in the free version since the last update, I changed my mind. Having a "free" program does not mean you can harass prospective customers with constant annoying ads that cover up what you are trying to read. I would have given this a rating of 4 before, but because of the ads it now gets a 1. I know this is the ad-supported version, but the ads that cover your comics is too annoying. The older versions of this ad-supported program were much better, the ads were there but they did not get in the way of using the program like it does now. |
[2012-03-25] Douglas McIntosh: Excellent App Really really good. Everything I need from a comic reader. On my short list of apps to buy in the near future. The ads are mildly annoying, but a reasonable price to pay for free. Try it, then buy it. |
[2012-03-24] Roderick: Good representation of full app This app has progressively more intrusive ads in the free versiob which also cause the app to crash. The paid version is100% stable where this is 90% . Good app and worth money |
[2012-03-23] Maya: Awesome! Works perfect on my T-mobile Comet. A must have for any comic book fan. |
[2012-03-22] Shaun: Longtime Fan Comicrack is the only program that I use to read comics on my PC and the Droid version works just as well. Will buy the paid version soon |
[2012-03-22] Rob: The best there is! THE BEST comic reader for pc and android. No contest. |
[2012-03-20] Ted: Awesome Best comic book reader available on Android. Works great on the Galaxy Nexus. |
