[2012-11-21] Billy: One of the best I read comics all the time. Im so glad they have comicrack for the android. One of the best things ever !! |
[2012-11-19] Jae: The Best Tried them all, ended up paying for this since it can't be beat. Devs, please don't stop improving this great app! |
[2012-11-19] Henrique: Pretty solid cbr reader I've already read a few comic books from my collection on this reader and I like it a lot. Probably the best one available for android. Well worth the cost. |
[2012-11-18] Mario: Best I've tried a lot of readers. This one is the most stable and with the best interface. |
[2012-11-18] Phil: Won't verify error. This is the only app I've ever purchased that does this yet the developer trys to put the blame on google play. Many other people have this problem too. Get off your @$$ and fix it. |
[2012-11-10] The: OK, but don't buy for WiFi sync The WiFi sync simply doesn't work most of the time. Winamp wifi sync works fine so I know it isn't my setup. Has been an issue for over a year if you look in the forums. It still hasn't been fixed. Disappointing. Great app aside from that. You're better off using the free version though. |
[2012-11-03] Ahmed: Best there is Wish it were possible to steam comics from a PC |
[2012-10-30] Anthony: Simply the best Excellent comic reader. Nice design. Easy to use. Loads of features and lots of data about each comic can be held. It works with cifs mounted Windows shared folders too if you have jumped through the Android hoops to get cifs working on your phone or tablet. |
[2012-10-28] Kenneth: Perfection! Without a doubt, the best comic reader you could ask for. The wifi sync is just the genius icing on the cake. Highly recommended! |
[2012-10-21] Alec: Two issues Page fling has never worked all the way on my transformer prime, and pleeease please make it so i can adjust the size of the thumbnail image for my stacks! While reading 4 series, theres a lot of empty real estate on the stacks page, just a personal pet peeve, but id fist the air so hard if this were added. |
[2012-10-20] Cullen: Comic rack!!! I bought a tablet just for comic rack!!!! Awesome app! |
[2012-10-17] Orlando: Great App! Have been using the free version for a while, and I love it. I use it on my rooted B&N Nook with a load of comics I have, and this app is def worth the purchase. Thank you devs! |
[2012-10-17] Kashyap: Awesomeness!!! Wonderful and definitely worthy app. I have paid the comicrack desktop application to support development and this one too! Love these developers. They come up with just what is wanted! > Read YOUR collection that you have on your laptop. > Superfast syncing!!!!! > Most intelligent comic reader - which I felt is better than comixology reader!! I liked the feature that you can change the amount of zoom and panel focus per your needs! Keep Rocking and keep updating the app!!! ----------------Edit: I am now using this app in my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and works like magic! |
[2012-10-15] Vesa: Great for organized library For long time Windows ComicRack user like me this is obvious app to get. Good with my Samsung Galaxy Nexus, much sweeter with Nexus 7. Wifi sync is nice because I can sync both mobile devices with one click from Windows CR. |
[2012-10-14] Simon: Network access always required As others have pointed out, the licensing scheme requires you to be connected to the internet. As I use ComicRack on a wifi-only Nexus 7, this essentially means I can't use it when I'm out and about. As I mainly use it for kids stories for my son on holiday trips, the licensed version of the app is completely useless to me, which is why, despite paying for the licensed version, I still use the free version as at least it works. |
[2012-10-14] David: Very nice! Only thing missing is JPG support. Please add! I'll be your best friend if you add it. :-P |
[2012-10-08] Steve: Awesome app!!!! Just like the windows version, this is the cream of the crop for reading comics ...try it ....you'll never go back to the others .. |
[2012-10-05] Matthieu: Great App ! |
[2012-10-03] Matthew: Perfect Reader I used the free version for so long that it was a simple switch to the paid version. Not dealing with the ads make it well worth the price, and I use it almost daily. I haven't found a better comic reader, especially anything produced by publishers. The only issue I have found is that using the Wallpaper function caused regularly crashes on my phone. This isn't a primary function of the reader though so it doesn't hinder my appreciation of the app. |
[2012-10-03] João Marcelo: Best comic reader! |
[2012-09-30] Claudia: great app, bad licensing its a great comic reader, I like it a lot! The only thing I'm missing is a sync from app back to desktop, until now it seems to be only the other way around. The license test is bad though, I can never use the app, when I don't have internet (like plane, subway, no-wifi in general...) if I didn't open the app before I went out. This would be great if it could at least switch to the free version then without me having to maintain 2 apps. Else really good |
[2012-09-30] Karthik: Adequate Comic Reader The reader is one of the best on the play store, however it is missing a very obvious feature that would make it perfect. Doing one or both of the following would make it fantastic: 1) Associating with common comic file types, to make it easy to open them from external file explorers. 2) Failing the above a better built in file explorer. |
[2012-09-28] Håkan: Best comic reader! The best way to read comics on my Galaxy Tab 7.7 |
[2012-09-27] Shaun: Galaxy s2 Brilliant reader, the best of the bunch in my opinion. Just one thing would be nice, the ability to post to g+ |
[2012-09-26] James: The best Comic Reader, but really buggy I've been using this app for several months now and frankly it's the best comic reader I have found when it's working. Lately the publisher has pushed updates that cause black pages to show at the front of every comic or misread the cover page. I've resorted to turning auto updates off on this one so that when I upgrade I can stop it on a version that works. |
[2012-09-25] Magnus: Great! Sync is notoriously unreliable, it seems to require you to run the app for a while to actually bother responding. |
[2012-09-23] carlos: Best Viewer Ever! used the PC. version for years and it was the best, esp the ability to organize things. Went ahead and bought the paid version without checking out the free. I trust them and was not disappointed. get this reader! |
[2012-09-23] Steven: Does not work on nexus 7 App works once after installing or deleting the app data but after that it crashes on startup every time. Hoping for a fix as I love this app but for now I am going to have to find an alternative. |
[2012-09-21] Ferenc: The best! I bought this after using the free version for a week or so. I don't need the wifi sync (I already load my tablet with comics/media using wifi), but this app is so good that I felt bad using the free version. I'm a developer and I know a well made app when I see (use) it. All the features I would have put in are already there - and then some! While using the free version I kept thinking "wow, this feature is really nice, but it would be even better if it had this too... wait a minute - it does". After that happened for the fifth or sixth time, I just bought the full version. The gestures for page turning need a little tweaking, but that's a very small thing compare to the things that just work right. Got for it, support the developer! |
[2012-09-20] Frank: This is your app for comics! I've used the PC version and could not wait to install it on my Nexus! No other program does what this can do. Haven't checked to see if scripts work with this, but need comic vine scraper.. |
[2012-09-20] the 9/21/2012 Licenses check Please fix the problem. If i am offline how can i use it |
[2012-09-18] Ramonito: Basa k ng books Hindi yung komiks inaatupg mo!!! |
[2012-09-14] Glenn: Simply amazing! This application when paired with the desktop version is everything you could ever want in comic book management and enjoyment. Well worth twice the price. |
[2012-09-12] Tanvir: The Logo just Sucks Big Time! How come It can't read PDF? This is a VERY EXPENSIVE APP and you can't go away without make this app PDF friendly! PLEASE make it friendly with other extent ions! We paid an outrageous value and can't expect to see something like this. Thanks for the App. PLEASE MAKE A GOOD ICON FOR THIS APP! |
[2012-09-12] Himdeep: Best comic app on Android!! This is by far best comic app on Android with Perfect Reader being number 2. I was actually very happy with free app which is pretty good in itself. The ads were bit annoying sometimes but free version was still extremely good. I purchased paid to 1. Support the developers 2. No ads. ..... Hurray!! That being said, I would love to see page turning effect on this app which I feel is the only thing which stops it from perfect :-) |
[2012-09-11] Javier: Worth every penny Great app. Keeps library organized, Wi-Fi feature comes very handy. |
[2012-09-07] Dino: Great app Been using this app for a good while now on my tablet, and been nothing but thrilled. Syncing wirelessly with my library is fantastic and love the reading experience it offers. Highly recommended for all comic book readers. |
[2012-09-06] Gabriel: Lovely Installed this on my new tablet and it is just flawless. Best reader I have used by a wide margin. |
[2012-09-04] Bobby: A great reader Works very well and syncs easily with the desktop version. Hopefully in the future this will be able to download comics directly from the desktop ComicRack. |
[2012-09-02] Juan: Wireless sync keeps comics fresh! I have it installed on both my phone and my tablet, and the wireless sync keeps both devices updated without a USB cable. The updates add useful features to the comics reader with the most polished interface on the market. |
[2012-08-30] Mathias: Free version seems to work better Had free version and worked great, now have all kinds of problems droid bionic with paid version. Force closes on bionic on startup after the first WiFi sync I did, free version works fine. Sent report to dev. Nexus 7 working good so far. 5* once bionic issue fixed |
[2012-08-28] sasha: Needs some updates. I want to put all my punisher comucs into one folder but that doesnt work. All i get is columns of punisher comics. When i type the name into the title it doesnt show up. |
[2012-08-27] Duc: Like reading comics? 5 Star App |
[2012-08-27] Porfirio: I love, love this app!! Go pro people!! No ads and enable sync. Support the devloper.. On next update to make this a killer app.. could you add turning the page animation, wifi and dropbox sync.. keep up the good work |
[2012-08-27] Robert: Amazing I love this app. It is easy to use and paying the money for no adds and all the extra features are worth the money. I have spent plenty of nights being lost in reading whole series and losing track of the time. |
[2012-08-27] Mike: Excellent reader Powerful yet simple. Great sync with the free desktop version maintaining read status. |
[2012-08-27] Bruce: Wonderful Great app. Only issue is I would like "page turning" animations, and easier syncing over wifi would be great too. What would be a nice feature is if I could stream my comics across wifi as I do not have much space on my phone to put some of my favourite collections. Please... |
[2012-08-26] Zillatron: Sweet This is easily the most elegant comic reader for android. Interface doesn't get in the way - it lets you read your comics intuitively. bloody fantastic. |
[2012-08-24] Adam: Worth every cent |
[2012-08-23] Chris: Great program... but... Love the app but wireless sync could use some work. I have to delete all of my comics almost every time I want to sync just to get it to work. Come on dev... let's get that fixed. |
[2012-08-20] Nathan: Naggging made me upgrade. Awesome product. I was very impressed with the free version and worked with it for a while but it seemed the "buy-me" nag screens got more and more frequent. But it did everything I wanted so I laid down the dollars, but the lame part is that my almost 8 bucks bought me almost nothing love free, except to remove the nags. I'd doesn't even import your settings or bookmarks from the free version, forcing me to ,manually recreate all of my bookmarks. Paid version should import settings and bookmarks. |
[2012-08-17] Billy: Great comic reader Awesome reader, love that it syncs my books on all my devices |
[2012-08-13] Helga: The best. Tried a lot of comic readers. This one is undoubtedly at the very top. Easy to use, very attractive UI. Well worth the money. Displays the comics so they're pleasant to read. Some of the suggestions made be some of the other reviewers sound really good & would be nice to have them implemented. |
[2012-08-13] Graham: Almost Perfect Allow me to get cbz and cbr file associations set, and this thing is the bomb. To be fair, i havent found a reader that does this, it might be a system limitation. It'd be nice to have direct box and dropbox access, like in comicbooklover over on ios, as well. Either of these options would get comicrack a 5 star rating from me. |
[2012-08-13] Ben: Best app ever. Hands down my favourite app ever. There isnt a day that goes by without me using this app. Thankyou for a piece of pure genius. |
[2012-08-12] Edward: Best comic viewer I've used I've tried onion, perfect, and android comic viewer, and pretty much every other comic reader app out there. So far comicrack has given me the best experience. Great UI, fast performance, great support. Can't really complain much. Some fixes would be appreciated though. Sometimes page turns won't work and I've crashed the app once or twice. Aside from these rare quibbles, this app is a must have if you have a tablet and read comics. |
[2012-08-08] the 8/9/2012 Great app! Really good app, one thing that would be a great addition would be when you select Stack view, that it will create a stack of comics in a folder as well. |
[2012-08-07] Alex: Best Comic Reader In The World Both this and it's pc counterpart are unbelievable! I can't say enough good things about it. I only have one request for this app, be able for long touch series to edit/delete the entire series, just like on the pc version. That is all I can really think of for improvement. Thank you, and keep being awesome! |
[2012-08-04] Michael: Great app |
[2012-08-03] Anthony: Hands down.... The best reader for comics. Period. The wifi-sync is just brilliant. There a few features that would be nice to see, such as support for web comics and some sort of "comic streaming" from my home computer, but other than that it's great. |
[2012-08-03] Adam: Great, needs navigation Something like clickable letters down the side, similar to the iphone, instead of scrolling for eternity would be great. |
[2012-08-02] Kris: Sweet manna from heaven! The absolute BEST mobile comic reader and management tool. ComicRack helped me to introduce the world of comics to my kids. Now I can push my entire collection out to my mobile devices and I don't have to worry about them (or me) bending up my comics. If you don't use the desktop app (why not??) the Free version is great for reading or managing a small collection. But if you're like me and manage a large collection (8000+ comics) then the paid version is well worth the money. YAY wireless sync! |
[2012-08-01] Jason: Awesome!!!!!! Best reader and well worth the 8 bux if u want to buy it, but even if u don't buy it the free version is still amazing |
[2012-07-31] Basem: decent but could use some tweaks awesome reader but would love to have folders to sort comics, it gets really rather messy with tonnes of issues spread out in the library |
[2012-07-30] Jesse: I am blown away. By far the best way to keep my comic collection synced up and ready to read. Automatically removes read comics and adds new ones using the wireless sync from anywhere in my house. Allows me to always keep my place in the book I'm currently reading, because it even syncs what page I've read to. Best money you can spend for people who love eComics. Super easy to use and ties in perfectly with the PC version. Pages turn super smooth, and everything works great. Thanks so much for this great app! |
[2012-07-27] Trevor: Love it Works great on my nexus 7 tablet. Upgrading to pro is a must if you have a large digital collection, WiFi updating is great. |
[2012-07-21] Winter: Worth its price! The app works so well, much more so when you combine it with the windows version, that it's worth its price. |
[2012-07-15] todd: Best comic viewing experience Great comic viewing app. Lots of great features (wifi syncing is a must for large libraries), and its updated often. Really nice...clean UI. Galaxy Nexus |
[2012-07-12] jayden: Best comic reader on earth Me Gusta |
[2012-07-12] Nathan: Amazing This is the best comic reader out there. |
[2012-07-09] Matthew: delete bug Since 4.0 update on the sony tablet s it wont delete comics |
[2012-07-05] Pat: False description, does NOT support webcomics! In order to use w Read web comics, you have to use the windows program to convert them to a .cbz file, and then sync them to your device via WiFi. Once they are converted, they will no longer update to new comic releases, and you can use ANY comic reading apo to view them! FALSE ADVERTISING! |
[2012-07-02] Lucas: Best comic reader! Great app, better yet when used with the desktop version, where you can organize your collection and sync only the comics you want to read to your device! 4 stars only because sync is taking a looooong time! It really shouldn't take that long, hope it gets fixed. Running on Nexus S. |
[2012-07-02] Atanu Kumar: The best and most intuitively designed reader. |
[2012-06-25] Fernando: Best in the world Dont buy anything else. This is the best comic book organizer in the world, i own today over five thousand cbr cbz comics and this program does thr job. Also, one really cool feature to note is that this also reads rar as cbr, so if you own simply rar.zipped comic files, you are good to go. I love it. |
[2012-06-23] Ryno: Wonderful comics reader. Only reason I give 4 stars is the price. Other readers do a great job, too, but the options and speed of ComicRack make this a must have. Drop the price a few bucks, and it will be the hottest selling reader out. I bought because the price outweighs the intrusive ads in the free version, and it is far and away better than the other free readers. Changed because no longer passes license check...ever. |
[2012-06-22] Adriano: Pdf We need pdf reading! |
[2012-06-20] Tim: Really good Don't often pay for apps if there is a free version but I really like this one. Layout is great and it's so simple to use. Highly recommended |
[2012-06-19] Glenn: Best Comic Reader App Out There Lots of options, good support at the forum, great experience. I use it all the time and never had a crash or bug. Combined with the Windows app comics can be synced or exported to your device over wifi. I love it. |
[2012-06-12] John: One feature added would make this a 5 star app I think being able to use the volume buttons to navigate the comic you are reading would be a great feature. Takes a bit of fiddling to get the wireless syncing working, but not that bad. Thanks! |
[2012-06-11] Roger: Great App, but updates have hurt it I love the app and use it frequently. One thing I have noticed is that, when I have a reading list set to only show unread comics, it used to remove comics from the list as I read them. It no longer does this, I have to switch to another view and back to unread to refresh it and remove the ones I have read. Annoying change. |
[2012-06-11] Scott: Doesn't work on kindle fire I used the free version for a few weeks on my kindle fire and like it a lot so I bought the full version. I had to side load out to my fire and found out that to use the full version you have to be able to connect to the Android market therefore it does not work on kindle fire. |
[2012-06-09] Sköt: Cries home to mommy I use the PC and app version of this program. I was very pleased with the free version of the app and decided to support the developers, so I bough the app. It's the most expensive app on my tablet, and also one of the most used. I then go someplace that has no wifi for my tablet to connect to, and 5 days later the app stops working because it wants to cry home to verify that it's a valid copy. I make a special trip into town and download the free version. 7 days later, the free version still works fine and hasn't had any problems. Worst 8 bucks I ever spent. |
[2012-06-08] Michael: Buggy at times Typically Comic Rack has always run well but lately it's been crashing alot. Sent a lot of error reports to Cyo Soft so hopefully the problem will be addressed. |
[2012-06-02] Joel: Amazing |
[2012-05-21] Christopher: Awesome. And I love being able to edit the metadata on the PC version. |
[2012-05-13] the 5/13/2012 Awesome |
[2012-05-11] James: Best comic reader by far.. This is simply the best solution for organising and reading comics on the go. The interface is intuitive, and no other reader matches the features, especially when paired with CR for windows. Definitely worth the price. |
[2012-05-11] Shannon: Brillant Works perfectly with the PC version. Amazing solution for reading on the train. Thanks! |
[2012-05-09] Thomas: Comic Rack Everything I ever needed for carrying my collection around. Just keep those updates coming. |
[2012-05-08] Andre: awesome. Great App. |
[2012-05-07] Nathan: Good app killed by DRM No longer able to use offline since it checks for a license now. FAIL. |
[2012-05-06] Kyle: Fails android license check Connected to internet, stills fails. Uninstalled and reinstalled, still fails. Try to register an account at devs forum, wont work. I have been using comicrack for months, then all the sudden this problem. Contacted Google, they said it is up to dev to solve this problem. |
[2012-05-06] Seb: The cats nips Not really interested in the extra features - just wanted to buy the full version as this is easily my most-used app. Still bugs out occasionally but nothing drastic and no other reader even comes close. |
[2012-05-05] Justin: Great program, the 2% of the time it opens Love this program, but really frustrated with the Android market check feature..even when connected via Wi-Fi; I still get the error message that I can't be verfied .. always at times when I just want to read my comics. At over 10$ for purchase I shouldn't feel like I am winning the lottery when this program opens a does what I paid for it to do. |
[2012-04-29] Will: Best comic reader This program is simply essential if you want to read comics on a tablet. This is why I am so glad I have an Android tablet and not an iPad. Love the reviewing and tweeting features. The only thing missing is the ability to stream comics over wifi from my PC. If that was here, I'd never do anything but read all day! |
