Great Tool! Keeps me from paying too much when I'm out buying, and allows me to price accordingly when I'm selling. My only complaint is that I wish it would allow you to paste in a vin number instead of having to type it in using their proprietary keyboard. Unnecessary when I receive a VIN through email or text and having to write it down on something then enter it in the app. Fix that one simple thing and this app will have five stars from me!

Best investment ever! Must have companion when car shopping. Got quick black book access at a cheaper rate than the provider themselves. Free features are great, but adding the in app options saved me from getting ripped off at the dealership. The loan value (what the bank values the car at) is a great number to have. Tip: after adding options, go to the already scanned VIN and press menu key and Refresh. This will show up your new settings. Would be great of it did an auto refresh, but a great start for sure.

Great tool but My only complaint on the Samsung s3 is that WiFi is horrible to use with this app. Sometimes my regular data connection would time out and display a message saying 'cannot add vehicle at this time' super frustrating when you are in a hurry and relying on this tool at a busy auction. I would let it check the app connection and it says all is good but would not let me add again... anyways. They should integrate what is inputted on the desktop version to upload to the mobile version please ! Great tool overall

The best appraisal tool hands down The 1-star reviews are from non-dealers looking for free vehicle values. This is a professional appraisal tool and is the least expensive, most focused tool out there for the professional dealer, wholesale manager etc. Support is outstanding. We have 13 rooftops and are rolling it out group-wide. Jason and Jared are outstanding when it comes to service and support. VinViper is a must try!

Deceptive Only thing this is good for is to take a pic if your car, bar code scanner wouldn't work, gives NO information on your car, allows them to gather a database for vehicles for farming out to dealers or others that could target you for a sales email or call, does nothing for average consumer, assumed one would get some info on something regarding giving my vin # out to someone that I have no idea what it could be used for, careful your car may turn up in Russia with the same vin.
