Register for FREE Lorex DDNS

1. In your browser, go to http://lorexddns.net to register for Lorex's FREE DDNS service. You will receive a Confirmation Email once registration is complete.
2. Enter your Lorex DDNS information in your DVR using DVR NETVIEW (SETUP> DDNS). For complete instructions on registering for Lorex DDNS, please refer to your product's instruction manual.


To use Lorex Mobile Edge:

1. Visit www.lorextechnology.com to download the latest firmware for your Edge Mini/Edge/Edge Plus DVR and install the firmware to your system.
‧ If you have a 4 channel Edge Mini/Edge/Edge Plus Series DVR (LH304/314/324), you will need firmware version 7.28.08_1890C or greater
‧ If you have an 8 or 16 Channel Edge/Edge Plus Series DVR (LH316/318 or LH328/326), you will need firmware version 1.45.10_1890C or greater

2. In your browser, go to http://lorexddns.net to register for Lorex's FREE DDNS service. You will receive a Confirmation Email once registration is complete.
3. Enter the DDNS info from the Confirmation Email in your Edge Mini/Edge/Edge Plus DVR.
4. Download and launch Lorex Mobile Edge on your iPhone, or iPod touch.
5. Enter your DDNS information in Lorex Mobile Edge, including the username and password of the Edge Mini/Edge/Edge Plus DVR (default user name: 9; default password: 3333).
6. Touch the Connect button on the top right corner of the screen. The iPhone/iPod touch connects to your DVR and displays a streaming video in a single channel view

Keep track of billable time without taking notes.

Make sure your time is used effectively.

Perfect for consultants, lawyers or contractors.

This application keeps track of hours worked on multiple tasks, projects and clients. Each task may have its own billing rate, and may be non-billable.

Times are either tracked by timer or through manual entry. Multiple work periods per day are possible, and if you forgot to punch in or out you can adjust the times after the fact.

A billing summary can be generated on a weekly, monthly or quartely basis, and for those of us with a salary based on prior performance parameters for a simple equation can be entered for a forecast of future montly salary.  

Adjustable resolution of 1,2,5,6,10,15,20,30 or 60 minutes per hour. Quick access to break functions the length of which can also be adjusted.

A time sheet function is provided where reports can be for an arbitrary time period. Shortcuts are available for weekly or monthly views.

The normalization function will adjust actual times by moving fragments in excess of the lower granularity level to the next working day, in order to keep measured and billed times equal. This can be done for a single task or for all tasks.

All data is stored in XML files on the SD card for simple backup and bulk editing. Switching between files is done in the settings screen by switching "Scope".
