You can get the summarized latest quarterly reports for Japanese public firms with this application. Forecast and achievement can be referred to in a simple way with major financial values. It is really valuable information for not only investors but also those who are interested in Japanese companies and want to obtain some useful knowledge about them.
1.Operation
1) If you know a security code, input it in the textbox and tap the Execute button. When the progress bar reaches the end, the data will be displayed.
2) If you do not know a security code, input the company name or part of it in the textbox. Tap the Confirm a Code button. Another screen will appear showing a list of companies containing the input text string. Select your company and tap it. You will return to the original screen displaying the security code of your company. Tap the Execute button.
3) If you are not sure of a security code, input the code and tap the Confirm a Code button. The company name will be displayed on another screen. Tap the company name. You will return to the original screen showing your input code. Usually, the progress bar will start automatically and the data will be displayed. If the input code does not exist, the NULL value will be displayed.

Publishing date: The latest publishing date of a quarterly report
FY: Fiscal Year
PFY: Previous Fiscal Year
ACHV: Achievement
T1st: Tokyo Stock Exchange 1st section
T2nd: Tokyo Stock Exchange 2nd section
MOTHERS: Tokyo Stock Exchange MOTHERS
O1st: Osaka Securities Exchange 1st section
O2nd: Osaka Securities Exchange 2nd section
JQ: Osaka Securities Exchange JASDAQ
N1st: Nagoya Stock Exchange 1st section
N2nd: Nagoya Stock Exchange 2nd section
S: Sapporo Securities Exchange

3.Explanation
1) The Summary of the latest quarterly report is displayed.
2) At each quarter, the achievement is compared to the annual forecast which is divided by 4 for a qurter and accumulated.
3)If the achievement is the same as or more than the forecast, the result is “OK”. If it is lower than the forecast, it is “NO”.
4) The achievement is also displayed in percentage to the forecast at each quarter.
5) If the achievement is annual, the result is the evaluation on the forecast of the next fiscal year. In this case, “To This FY” and “Next/This FY” display the same value.
6) “To PFY” is the comparison with the same quarter in the previous year.
7) If a forecast is changed after disclosure of a quarterly report, the forecast will be replaced with the new one on the report.
4.Remarks
1) It is possible data is not displayed due to the shortage of disclosed data.
2) It is possible it takes time to appear or the progress bar stops on the way because of the communication conditions or concentration of accessing. In such a case, the data can be displayed correctly if you input the code again and tap the Execute button.
