[2012-06-25] Alex: Cant use device keyboard Have asus transforer with keyboard dock. Cant type with keyboard, have to use built in on screen. |
[2012-06-21] bob: Garbage. Lemme say again:GARBAGE I have no idea what this developer is thinking. Completely unintuitive interface-looks like something I wrote in DOS 3.1 nearly 30 years ago when I was 12! Total crap. |
[2012-05-19] brainchild: Much to fidgety Cumbersome and unpractical to use. ConnectBot is much better. |
[2012-05-07] joki: Keyboard??? I´ve already got a keyboard. The one on screen (Samsung or Swype) or the Samsung hardware keyboard. Neither of these work for some obscure reason with this client. A pass for Galaxy Tab owners |
[2012-04-27] iCE Breaker: Trial? Use ConnectBot.... |
[2012-02-25] M0les: Bizarre screen flow Somehow I seem to have got stuck in "mobile" file view (i.e. viewing local file tree). No menu option or bac-key input seemed to have any effect. When I did have an SSH connection (To Ubuntu server), for some reason it only let me use 1/4 of screen. All inputs echoed as a center-of-screen overlayed text display for some reason. Doesn't handle full keyboards (ctrl-keys, etc.). Seems to be line-buffered input. |
[2011-12-28] Don Barthel: Doesn't fully support bluetooth keyboard ICS/4.0 now fully supports bluetooth keyboards, for example ctrl-A selects all. But this SSH client doesn't, i.e. doesn't send ctrl keys. But neither does ConnectBot. |
[2011-11-21] GG-MI: Bubbly ui Ui is too nice but too slow to use and locks a few fancy graphics.. nice multiple locations. Bad it costs 10 usd. Botsync is free but 1 profile.Rsync! |
[2011-11-11] Zep: keyboard support is.. not great |
[2011-10-18] Dougal: Sorry, but it's too fiddly. Seemed like 6 presses to get through to saved session details. My previous session should be available with one press. |
[2011-09-21] jrconlin: Not worth $11 While it has some promise, there are some critical failures with use (at least with native hard keyboard devices like the Asus Transformer) 1. It doesn't handle Ctrl scan code modifiers correctly 2. When confused, it uses it's own keyboard overlay (instead of user preferred input) 3. curses support appears to be faulty (particularly when using things like screen) 4. You must unlock keys first (rather than be prompted on request). I've also had problems with the client failing to unlock keys after restart) |
[2011-08-13] Wheel: I don't think the interface will make anyone happy. |
[2011-06-28] Dave: best ssh client on the market As per title, I may even shell out and buy the full version |
[2011-06-28] Jeff: This implementation of ssh/sftp with keys and F1 to F10 has made my day. On honeycomb with full hardkeyboard. Connectbot, I could not type $@#%&*-+ |
[2011-06-23] Mark: Extremely confusing interface. The overlay-keyboard is a promising idea, but without a way to adjust its opacity, it's unusable as implemented here. |
[2011-05-25] Padraig: I absolutely loved it. Many people are complaining about the interface, specifically the keyboard. To me, that was the best part. Transparency FTW |
[2011-04-04] Sneef: Can't move to SD. Uninstalling |
[2011-04-02] G. Gonzalez: Bad interface. Supports ssh keys. Definately not worth purchasing. |
[2011-03-28] John: Why make a free app that is a trial? I might have bought it if it wasnt for that. The app works but gets 3 stars. Sorry bud. |
[2011-03-16] Chris: Dreadful interface Absolutely hideous interface. Nasty transparent keys that you can't see because of the background coming through, but it doesn't come through enough to be legible itself. Only redeeming feature is that it has no problem with the | (pipe) character. |
[2011-02-19] pea: Weird interface. Can't even use my own keyboard |
[2011-02-11] Rob: Love the on screen keyboard, supports SSH and SFTP, reasonably quick, general interface could do with a bit of a polish. Overall very good. |
[2011-01-31] Carlos: Useless trying to use finch through screen, because of inability to define font size to actual number |
[2011-01-10] Chris: It's perfect for my needs. I'm buying the full version now that I've tried the trial version. |
[2011-01-09] darkpixel: Worst interface ever. Completely unusable. |
