L'Union des Jeunes Avocats à la Cour de Paris, association à vocation syndicale, a été créée le 22 Décembre 1922, dans le but de favoriser l'insertion des jeunes avocats dans la profession. Sa vocation est d'aider les jeunes avocats à s'intégrer dans la profession et, plus généralement, de faire tout ce qui est nécessaire pour promouvoir leur avenir. L’UJA de Paris, est avant tout un lieu de rencontre, de communication, de réflexion et d’action. Elle incarne la permanence de l’action de la réflexion des jeunes avocats depuis 1922.

Les travaux de l’UJA de Paris s’organisent au sein de Commissions d’Etudes « institutionnelles » ou créées pour répondre à l’actualité. Lieu de discussion, d’échange et de partage d’expériences, les Commissions d’Etudes de l’UJA travaillent tout au long de l’année sur des sujets divers.

Un organigramme est publié chaque année avec la composition de chacune des commissions d’Etudes « institutionnelles » ou « ad hoc ». Les travaux de ces commissions font l’objet d’une diffusion auprès des adhérents et de tous les confrères, notamment par La « Lettre de L’UJA » distribuée à l’ensemble des avocats et consultables sur le site. La Commission Permanente de l’UJA de Paris, composée de jeunes avocats âgés de moins de 40 ans et d’élèves-avocats, se réunit au moins une fois par mois pour délibérer sur les rapports de ses Commissions d’Etudes.

L’UJA de Paris déploie tous ses efforts lorsque les intérêts de la profession, et tout particulièrement des Jeunes Avocats lui paraissent menacés.

L’UJA de Paris a mis en place trois services d’assistance permanente et bénévole en direction des jeunes avocats :

- Offres et recherches d’emplois sur le site www.uja.fr,

- SOS Collaborateurs (soscollaborateurs@uja.fr) : structure de défense collective créée pour apporter écoute, conseil et assistance précontentieuse et contentieuse aux jeunes collaborateurs libéraux avec une procédure de traitement des dossiers et une écoute anonyme,

- Permanences Installation et Association : conseils personnalisés pour la première installation ou association (sosinstallation@uja.fr).

Elle intervient régulièrement auprès des pouvoirs publics par voie de la négociation ou au stade du travail parlementaire où ses observations sont fréquemment prises en compte.

Elle est aussi en contact constant avec les organismes professionnels et ordinaux pour faire entendre la voie des Jeunes Avocats.

L’UJA de Paris, c’est aussi :

- la Journée du Jeune Avocat,
- la Revue annuelle et la Revue des anciens,
- des soirées, conférences débats, formations,
- des activités humanitaires et sportives,
- le guide du jeune avocat, le guide l’installation et de l’association, le guide du droit des étrangers, …
- et des avantages financiers ou offres de ses partenaires pour les adhérents.

Aujourd'hui l'UJA de Paris est la première association d'avocats parisienne, que ce soit en termes d’adhérents que de suffrages obtenus dans les institutions représentatives (Ordre de Paris, Conseil National des Barreaux …).

L’UJA de Paris a signé une convention de jumelage avec les jeunes Barreaux de Montréal, Québec, Bruxelles, Genève et Lausanne et est représentée au sein de l’European Young Bar Association (E.Y.B.A.).

Conversion Table

Broken down by common email and document formats, the user can easily estimate how much data they have in a tangible measurement – by the number of documents or pages.

Cost Estimator
E-Discovery and the costs associated with it are a large portion of client’s litigation spend. Using industry averages, BlueStar has created a Cost Estimator to give clients an idea how much a user defined amount of data or number of documents for review could cost to deal with in litigation.
